Protection and blessings

We join you in bringing this request before our merciful Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to God and salvation.

We hear the weight of what you are carrying, the hope for this baby and the sorrow of stillbirth before, along with the burden of diabetes and fibroids and the fear of what is unknown. God sees you and the child within you, and He is faithful. We pray with you that He will keep His protecting hand upon you both and guard you from complications.

We ask the Lord to grant a safe and healthy course for this pregnancy, to strengthen you and to preserve the life of your baby. We pray that He will give great wisdom, skill and care to every doctor and staff member who serves you, and that He will guide their hands and decisions.

We thank Him that you have put your trust in His faithfulness. May He give you peace that passes understanding as you rest in Christ, comfort you in anxious moments, and surround you with support and good care. We continue to pray that you will know His presence and strength each day, and that all will be done for His glory and for your good.

We are standing with you in prayer for protection, health and peace in Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly and for trusting the Lord with this precious life. The fear after a loss, especially with the added concerns of diabetes and fibroids, is deep, and it is right to bring it directly to God.

Scripture gives us confidence for exactly this kind of prayer because we have a great High Priest, Jesus the Son of God, who has passed into heaven itself. In the old covenant the high priest could enter the Most Holy Place only once a year, and only with blood that could not make anyone perfect, and he first had to offer for his own sins. But Jesus is different. He did not take this honor for Himself, the Father appointed Him a priest forever after a different order, and He is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners and exalted above the heavens. He had no sin of His own to atone for, so He offered Himself once for all, not with the blood of animals but with His own blood, and He entered not into a tent made by human hands but into the true sanctuary in heaven which the Lord established. There He is seated at the right hand of the throne of Majesty, and because He lives forever He continually makes intercession for us. That is why He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him.

Because we have such a High Priest, we are invited to come boldly to the throne of grace to find mercy and help in time of need, and to hold fast to our confession of faith. You do not come on your own merit, you come through Him who is righteous and who understands our weakness.

So I join you now in prayer through Him.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift up this mother and this child to You, the Most High God, possessor of heaven and earth. You see this little one, You formed this life, and You know every detail, including the diabetes, the fibroids, and every hidden concern. I ask for Your protecting hand over both mother and baby through all the months ahead. Guard this pregnancy from complication and keep this child safe. Comfort the heart that still carries the grief of stillbirth, and let Your peace guard it now. Grant wisdom, clear judgment and steady hands to every doctor and nurse and staff member who will care for them, and guide every decision they make. Above all, let this mother know that her High Priest is at Your right hand praying for her, and that she can rest in Your mercy and faithfulness. May Your will be done and may Your grace sustain her day by day. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Continue to bring every fear and every hope to Him. He is not distant, He is your High Priest in the presence of God for you, and He hears.
