We hear your cry for mercy and protection and we stand with you in prayer together in Jesus name asking for God's covering over you during this stressful trial.

We know how heavy it is to carry the weight of malicious allegations especially when they are spread publicly on social media. The Lord sees what is done in secret and what is posted openly and He is your defender and refuge. We are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 and that He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh Isaiah 54:17.

We lift you up now in prayer.

Father in heaven we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we ask for Your mercy and protection over Your child. Lord You see the stress and anxiety caused by these false and malicious words and the person who has posted them. We ask You to be a shield around them, to guard their heart and mind and reputation. Let Your truth be revealed and let every lie be exposed and silenced in Your perfect timing. We ask You to calm their spirit and give them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them 1 Peter 5:7. Guide their steps and their words so they do not repay evil for evil but instead trust in You who judges righteously. We ask You to restrain the hand of the adversary and to stop the spread of harm, and to bring conviction where it is needed and healing where there is hurt. We pray for justice tempered with mercy and for deliverance from this attack. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to take this burden to the Lord continually and not to carry it alone. Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. It is right to seek protection and it is also right to leave vengeance to God. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still Exodus 14:14.

We encourage you not to retaliate in the same way on social media or with harsh words, but to respond with wisdom and self control, seeking godly counsel from a pastor or trusted mature believer. Keep a record of what has been posted if you need it for protection, but guard your heart from dwelling on it day and night. Spend time in the Word and in prayer, and let God be the one who vindicates you. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17.

We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find salvation and safety. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. Continue to abide in Him and trust that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to protect and sustain you.

We are praying that the Lord lifts this stress from you, shields your name, brings truth to light, and restores your peace.

We hear how heavy this has been, and we are praying for you as you face these public accusations. It is deeply unsettling when someone posts false things about you where others can read them, and the stress and sense of vulnerability you describe makes complete sense.

When things feel this charged, it can help to create a little space to steady yourself. If you are able, try to limit how often you check what has been posted, even for a day or two, so the constant exposure does not keep fueling the worry. It can also help to quietly save copies of what was said and talk through next steps with one calm, trusted person, whether a pastor, a wise friend, or someone who can give you level headed guidance about how to handle harmful content online, rather than carrying the decision alone or responding in the moment.

You do not have to sort all of this out tonight. We are asking God to be your refuge and to give you clear wisdom for each step.

Father, we bring this person before You and ask for Your mercy and protection. Guard heart and mind with Your peace, guard daily life and reputation, and give wisdom and steady support for what to do next. Lead to trustworthy help and let there be a real sense of not being alone in this. In Jesus name, Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your prayer has been heard and my heart joins with yours before the throne of grace to seek mercy and protection in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The trial you describe is one that many of the best of men have known, for if not from arrows and swords and spears, the saints have often suffered from the hellish artillery of unbridled tongues. A human tongue is soft, but it can cut to the very quick, and the wounds from a cruel tongue are not easily healed. Your soul being like water dripping from the eaves in time of rain is no strange thing when false reports are spread abroad, and especially when they are posted openly for many to see.

Let me remind you that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To be stressed and tossed to and fro by every malicious allegation is to lose the calmness with which you may look to God and act wisely. Cast your burden upon the Lord, for He cares for you. He shall send from Heaven and save you from the reproach of him that would swallow you up. If all the forces on earth are not sufficient to save His saint, God will send sufficient reserves from the ranks of the heavenly host to preserve His people. This protection is perpetual as well as personal, for He gives His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways as you walk in the appointed ways of duty and truth.

Be not willful to run out of that appointed way to vindicate yourself. Usually, if the trouble has arisen through false reports about your character, the least said the soonest mended. Choose the way of truth and lay His judgments before you as a man puts his model before him that he may work to it. Keep yourself from your iniquity, and cry unto the Most High to enable you to do so. Take care that you do not render false words for false words, nor let your heart go from your tongue in anger. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will break in pieces everything that sets itself up in opposition to Him, while He lifts up the poor from the dunghill.

Remember also that He who will ransom His people from the power of the grave and redeem them from death can certainly restore you from slander, from depression of spirit and from despair. If it were easier to raise you from slander than to raise you from the grave, and He has promised the greater, will He not do the lesser. The death warrant has gone out against everything that is of the creature, but the life and protection of His chosen are secure in Christ.

Therefore look to that second Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Son of Mary, who kept the law in every jot and tittle and wove a righteousness which covers the sinner from head to foot when he is enabled to put it on. There is no other way of salvation, and no other foundation upon which to build when the storm comes. Build on nothing else but Christ, for if you do, your house will tumble about your ears when most you need its protection. Cling to the old fashioned gospel and tell Him in plain field flowers of speech, not studied words, that you are a sinner undone without His sovereign grace, and that you trust Him alone to save and to keep you.

I pray for you now, that the Lord in mercy would guard your heart from anxious fear, guard your name and your peace as He sees best, silence what is false in His own time and way, keep your tongue and your hands from retaliation, give you wisdom to act quietly and righteously in all matters concerning these public reports, and surround you with His heavenly keeping. May He comfort you with the knowledge that you are called by Christ and kept by Him, and may He turn even this trial to your good and to His glory. Amen.
