Father, we ask in Pray for Your Wisdom and Guidance for Generals, Troops, Leaders, Pastors, "Save & Guide All in Authority,” 1Tim 2:1-2, Free Speech, Press, Peace & Gospel Proclamation Matt 28:19-20, 1Tim 2:3-4... We intercede for WISDOM for COMMANDER IN CHIEF, JOINT CHIEFS, GENERALS, CORPORALS, SERGEANTS, TROOPS, "ALL in AUTHORITY" Father thank You for "for ALL in Authority," PRES, VPs, SECs, SCOTUS, House Reps, Senators, GENERALS, -- “ALL IN AUTHORITY” we offer "prayers, petitions, thanksgivings and intercession" before the Throne of Grace on their behalf, so "that we may live peaceful lives in godliness and dignity, which is good and acceptable in Your sight," (in line with the furtherance of the administration of the Gospel), "for You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Tim 2:1-4. We ask for Wisdom & PROTECTION of our leaders from Spirits of Darkness with ANGELS OF HEAVEN, Ps 91:5-6, Ps 91:7, Ps 91:15-16, Heb 1:14, Rev 20:2...

"Stand, struggle, wrestle, resist, stand against, evil chiefs, delegated authorities and forces of this world's darkness, wicked spirits of evil in the skies above" Eph 6:10-14... Praying for everyone all the time with all types of prayer, Eph 6:15-20. WE do this in Jesus’ Name PROTECT Troops and The Beautiful Land Grant Peace When & Where Possible for Order & Allow Gospel Proclamation to be Legal and open, proclaimed and effective, 1 Tim 2:3-4, PROTECT ships , captains, crew, free speech, good gov't to arise and free & open economies.

With thanksgiving we are lifting these burdens to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries and bad actors at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3-9, 1 Sam 27-42. May "The Angel of The Lord encamp around those that fear You, and DELIVER THEM, Ps 34:7. Bind the spirits of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Let our prayers strengthen holy angels to back the evil ones off their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3. Send them into confusion, Ex 23:7, Deut 7:23. Lead us, our country, our troops and OUR LEADERS not into temptation, but rather deliver them ALL from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44. Thank You again and again, and even in advance (because You are trustworthy and hear prayer, James 5:16), in JESUS' NAME.

We lift our voices together in fervent prayer, standing in the gap for those in authority, our military leaders, and all who serve to protect and govern. Your Word instructs us clearly in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to the full knowledge of the truth." Father, we take this command to heart, interceding on behalf of those You have placed in positions of leadership, that they may be guided by Your wisdom and protected by Your mighty hand.

Lord, we pray for the Commander in Chief, the Joint Chiefs, generals, corporals, sergeants, and every troop under their command. Surround them with Your heavenly hosts, as You promise in Psalm 91:11, "For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Shield them from the schemes of the enemy, both seen and unseen, and grant them discernment to make decisions that align with Your will. We ask that You would encamp around them, delivering them from every evil plan, just as You did for Elisha in 2 Kings 6:16-17, when he declared, "Don’t be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them." Open their eyes, Lord, to see Your protection and provision in every circumstance.

We stand against the forces of darkness that seek to sow chaos, confusion, and destruction. As Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We take up the full armor of God, resisting the enemy’s advances and declaring that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Bind the spirits of retaliation, deception, and violence that seek to disrupt peace and order. Confuse the plans of those who oppose Your purposes, as You did in Exodus 23:27, "I will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you."

Father, we pray for the preservation of free speech, a free press, and the open proclamation of the Gospel. Your Word commands us in Matthew 28:19-20 to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you." Let this mission continue unhindered, that all may hear the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Raise up leaders who will uphold righteousness, justice, and godliness, that we may live peaceful lives in dignity, as You desire.

We also lift up the nations and leaders who oppose Your truth, asking that You would restrain the evil one and intercept his plans. Just as You revealed the schemes of the king of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12), expose the hidden works of darkness and turn the hearts of those in authority toward You. Let Your angels contend with the spiritual forces that seek to dominate and destroy, and may Your name be praised from the rising of the sun to its setting (Psalm 113:3).

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and trustworthiness. We know that You hear our prayers, as James 5:16 assures us, "The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the One through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your kingdom come in every heart and nation. Amen.

We’re grateful for the way you’ve shouldered this burden for those in authority and on the front lines. Carrying that weight in prayer, especially day after day, is a real labor of love. It can feel unseen, but we believe it matters deeply in the spiritual realm. The specific, persistent prayers of God’s people, like the ones you’re offering, are no small thing.

When the list of needs grows long and the darkness feels thick, it’s easy for intercessors to grow weary or wonder if they’re making a difference. What helps us is remembering that we’re joining Christ’s own intercession, not generating enough urgency on our own. You’re not alone in this. The burden you feel for generals, troops, leaders, and the free spread of the gospel is likely a share of His own heart for these things.

We’ve found that one of the most anchoring things we can do is bring a few other trusted believers into that prayer with us, even just one or two others who will regularly meet, call, or message to pray through these specifics. It lightens the weight, keeps the fire steady, and reminds us that we’re part of a much larger company of prayer. If that’s possible in your context, we’d encourage you to take that step.

Father, thank You for putting this sister or brother’s heart so squarely in line with Your own concern for those who lead and protect. Strengthen them for this unseen work. Keep their vision clear and their spirit rested in You. We ask again alongside them: guard our troops, give wisdom to our leaders, restrain evil, and open doors for the gospel. We trust Your sovereignty over every nation and every battlefield. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The soul that is stayed upon Jehovah has found a peace that this world can neither give nor take away. You ask for the protection of generals and troops, for wisdom for those in high stations, and for the free course of the Gospel. These are good and scriptural desires, for we are commanded to offer supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks for all men, for kings, and for all that are in authority. Yet let us take exceeding care that our own hearts are first garrisoned by the Prince of Peace, for it is written, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." The peace that passes understanding must rule in our own bosoms, even while we cry out against the darkness that covers the earth and the gross darkness the people. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and from that secret sanctuary of calm we may then wrestle with principalities and powers.

The Gospel we proclaim is in itself a glorious light, plain and simple, needing no ornament from the wisdom of words. I have ever sought to use great plainness of speech, for if this Gospel is hidden, it is hidden to them that are lost, whose unbelieving eyes the god of this world has blinded. Our weapon is not the sword of steel but the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. When we cry for angels to encamp around those who fear the Lord and to bind the spirits of retaliation, we do so in the full confidence that the Lord of Peace Himself can give peace always, not by proxy, but by His own direct and sovereign touch. It is "Himself" who must give peace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. The everlasting consolations of the Gospel are not earned by our wrestlings but are the free gift of God our Father.

Therefore, let us never doubt the power of the Gospel we preach. We do not need to engage in worldly disputes or to rely on carnal weapons to break the schemes of the evil one. O for faith in the simple testimony of Christ! Our business is not to force belief but to proclaim the unsearchable riches of Christ everywhere. True faith is not a dumb faith; it must speak. And what does it speak? It speaks the truth that the Gospel must be effectual. We may with holy boldness ask the Lord to restrain the evil one over unruly nations, for He has done it before, revealing the secret plots of the Syrian king to His servant Elisha and frustrating the wicked intent of Saul against David. We pray that the free Spirit of God, who is not bound by our bondage nor restrained by the wickedness of men, will sweep through the ranks of soldiers and senators alike, bringing conviction and salvation, for He desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Yet beware of crying "Peace, peace," where there is no peace. The peace we seek for our land is not the slumbering calm of a conscience seared by the devil, but the blessed peace that flows from being right with God through the atoning blood. Seek this peace for yourselves first, and then adorn the Gospel you profess. Adorn it not with peculiar speech or strange garb, but with mercifulness, with a cheerful countenance born of being a child of the blessed God, and with strict integrity in all your dealings. Let your leaders see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven. The Lord has endless, boundless peace within Himself, and He can renew your peace even when sorrows surge round. Pray on, for the Lord of Peace can hush the raging of the nations and make even the wrath of man to praise Him. Only remember that the free grace which saves a harlot or a murderous Saul of Tarsus is the same free grace that must save you and me, and the mightiest general upon the earth. Go then to the throne of grace, pleading the full redemption and endless peace found only in Christ, and there you shall find grace to help in this time of need.

Your fervent desire to pray for those in authority and for the protection of troops is commendable, for the Apostle indeed exhorts us to offer supplications for all men, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and gravity. Yet observe well the reason he gives: this is acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. The peace for which we pray is not merely an outward calm, but the quiet that allows the gospel of peace to be preached freely, that souls might turn from darkness to the true peace found in Christ alone. For Christ Himself is our peace, and there is no lasting safety or order apart from Him.

You speak much of binding spirits and commanding angels, but hear the Apostle Paul more simply: “My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” The weapon that overthrows the devil is not the multiplication of words or the naming of principalities, but the cross of Jesus Christ, received in humble faith. The victory has already been won; the head of the serpent is crushed. Therefore, rather than strain to bind what Christ has already bound, put on the whole armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, and above all, the shield of faith. The preparation of the gospel of peace is nothing else than a most virtuous life. Let your own heart be made ready for peace by repentance and a living faith working through love, and you will be a stronger bulwark for your nation than all the schemes of the adversary.

You cry out for wisdom and protection for generals and rulers, and this is good. Yet do not forget that the hope of the gospel is Christ Himself; if any man ascribes salvation or deliverance to human might or strategy, he has lost all, unless he believes in Christ. Pray therefore that these leaders might themselves bow to the scepter of the King of kings, who alone can give true wisdom. For what advantage is it if your country be guarded and your leaders kept safe, yet their hearts remain strangers to the fear of God? The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God without an Advocate. So let your prayers be first that they, and all men, might be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

You have also made mention of confusion seizing the enemy, citing examples from the old covenant. Yet remember how Christ answered the father who said, “If You can do anything, help us.” “If you can believe,” He replied, “all things are possible to him who believes.” Do not look to the authority of your words, as though your formulations could move heaven, but look to the mercy of God, who hears the cry of the humble. Cry out with the Apostles, “Lord, increase our faith!” and leave the ordering of armies and the confusing of plots to the Lord of Hosts, who sees all and has numbered the hairs of your head. He needs no counselor, but delights in the petitions of His saints that flow from a contrite heart.

Beware of a zeal that reaches beyond the simplicity of the gospel. For the gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Labor, then, to adorn this gospel with a quiet and submissive spirit, whether you are a soldier serving your earthly commander without complaint, or a citizen honoring the emperor. Let your greatest warfare be against the passions that war within you, and your most diligent watch be over your tongue and eyes. If we are at war with the devil through holy living, we are at peace with God; and that peace is the sure foundation upon which any earthly peace must be built.

Therefore, continue to pray without ceasing, but let your requests be made known with thanksgiving, casting all your care upon Him who cares for you. Do not be anxious about secret plots or unseen spirits, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Walk by faith, keep the commandments, love the brethren, and proclaim the crucified Lord both by word and deed. The beautiful feet are those that carry the good news of peace, not those that run after rumors of war. In this way you will strengthen the things that remain, and your prayer for all in authority will be heard, not for your many words, but for the name of Jesus Christ, whom to know is eternal life.
