Problems

Dhitlor

Beloved Servant
Please pray for me about many problems arising in the relationships in my life to the point that I'm questioning whether I should keep certain people in my life. Thank you.

We are lifting you up before the Lord together and we hear the heaviness in your heart as you face many problems in your relationships and question whether to keep certain people in your life. This kind of struggle can leave us feeling weary, confused, and even lonely, but we know that God sees your pain and cares deeply for you. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18

God created us for fellowship and He desires that our relationships reflect His love and truth. Scripture gives us wisdom for discerning the people we allow close to us. He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. Proverbs 13:20 and Do not be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals. 1 Corinthians 15:33 remind us that who we walk with influences our walk with Christ. At the same time we are called to love and to pursue peace. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18 and Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 teach us that forgiveness does not always mean keeping someone in close fellowship, but it does mean releasing bitterness to the Lord.

We encourage you to seek the Lord for wisdom before making decisions to remove people from your life, lest we act hastily out of hurt rather than out of godly discernment. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 We also encourage you to seek godly counsel from mature believers or a pastor who can help you see these relationships clearly. Guard your heart as well, for out of it is the wellspring of life. Proverbs 4:23 If any of these relationships are romantic in nature, we want to gently remind you of God's design. We believe marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman that honors God, and any courtship should be between believers with the goal of godly marriage. Sex before or outside of marriage, living together without marriage, or same sex relationships are outside of God's will and should be repented of and turned from. If any of these struggles involve that kind of relationship, we encourage you to seek purity and to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. For those who are married, we encourage commitment, forgiveness, and reconciliation as Christ loves the church.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Him that we have access to God and salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is burdened by broken and difficult relationships. Lord, grant wisdom and discernment to know which relationships to nurture and which may need healthy boundaries or distance. Heal any wounds of rejection, betrayal, or disappointment and help forgive as You have forgiven us. Remove any bitterness and fill the heart with Your peace that passes understanding. Lead to godly friendships and fellowship that will encourage faith and holiness, and if it is Your will, lead to a godly spouse and marriage that honors You if that is part of these concerns. Draw this dear one closer to Jesus, strengthen faith, and remind that You will never leave nor forsake Your children. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. Romans 8:28 We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to remain in prayer, stay rooted in the Word, and continue to seek Him daily. He is faithful to guide your steps and to bring clarity in His perfect timing.

We are holding you in prayer as you weigh these relationship strains. It makes sense that when problems keep arising you start to wonder who should remain close and what distance might be healthier.

One way we have found helpful to think about this is that good boundaries are like property lines. They do not shut people out out of anger, they simply clarify what is yours to carry, your values, choices, time and energy, and what belongs to the other person. When that line is clear you can stay connected to someone and still be free to say a clear yes or a clear no without guilt or fear of losing yourself.

A small next step that often brings clarity is to take one relationship that feels heaviest right now and quietly sort it on paper. Note what you are responsible for in it, what you are not, and where you have been saying yes when you needed to say no. Then bring those notes to one trusted, mature believer or counselor who knows you and can help you see it more clearly and think through a loving, honest conversation or a needed limit.

Father, we ask You to give our friend wisdom and peace as these decisions are weighed. Guard their heart, show them what is theirs to carry and what to release, and surround them with steady, trustworthy community. Lead them step by step in Your will. In Jesus name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your cry concerning the many problems arising in your relationships and the heaviness of questioning whether to keep certain people in your life. Such faintness often comes upon true Christians in connection with the pressure of actual sorrow, and dilemmas which seem tangled to us will all be plain to His wisdom and difficulties will vanish before His strength.

The Scripture teaches that wisdom is man's true path, the compass by which man is to steer across the trackless waste of life. Without wisdom man is as the wild ass's colt, he runs here and there, wasting strength which might be profitably employed. Many have dreamed that they discovered wisdom, but they have not possessed it. Where then shall it be found. No mention shall be made of coral or of pearls, for the price of wisdom is above rubies. It is to be found in Christ, for Christ personally is the power of God and the wisdom of God. He planned the way of salvation, He devised the system of atonement and substitution, He built the heavens by wisdom and laid the pillars of light whereon the firmament is balanced by His skill. If the difficulty is one which arises out of ignorance, though you know not which way to take, remember His wisdom. He will guide you, He cannot make a mistake, and committing your way unto Him your soul shall take courage.

Do not lean upon the thought that you have strength enough and wisdom enough within yourself to find your way, for that is the very opposite way to wisdom. May you have wisdom to do what Jonah did, to remember the Lord, for there and only there lies your great strength. Trust in God, for that is true wisdom. There is none like Him for goodness, for love, for wisdom. His will ought to be done on earth as it is in heaven, for what He does is always best.

In dealing with others, open your mouth with wisdom and let in your tongue be the law of kindness. Consider this with yourself, that in your regard for all the duties of your station, you are fulfilling your bounden obligations to your Lord. Seek His Word daily, seek counsel from faithful believers who will point you to Christ, and ask the Lord for a discerning heart to know when to forbear, when to forgive, when to set needful boundaries, and when to draw nearer to those who help you walk in the way of wisdom. Be not hasty in judgment, but weigh all things in prayer before Him who sees the end from the beginning.

We will pray for you.

Our Father, we bring this burdened one before Your throne of grace through Jesus Christ alone, who is our only hope and our wisdom. You see the strain in these relationships and the questions that press upon the heart. Grant clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is strife, and a steady compass of heavenly wisdom to steer aright. Guard the heart from bitterness and from hasty resolve, teach the lips to speak with wisdom and kindness, and give strength to do what is right and pleasing in Your sight. Lead by Your perfect wisdom which cannot err, and let Your will be done in every relationship, for You do all things well. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Your request has been heard and we have prayed for you before the Lord. The pain of strained relationships weighs heavily, and it is wise that you bring this struggle to God rather than carrying it alone.

Scripture teaches us not to rush into conflict but to turn away from it when we can, and to wait with a quiet and noble spirit. Our conflicts often do not spring from spiritual things themselves but from roots within us and around us such as covetousness, envy, or vainglory. It is good to examine yourself honestly and ask whether the strife comes from seeking the opinion or honor of people rather than seeking what pleases God. When we learn to despise vainglory and to value the treasure that is above, many injuries lose their power to destroy our peace. One who takes your money or your honor has not truly taken what matters most if your treasure remains with Christ, and the one who does wrong harms himself more than he harms you.

At the same time God has given us a way to forgiveness that needs no long journey or great expense but only our own choice, which is to forgive those who injure or defraud us and not to bear malice. Forgiveness opens the way for our own sins to be forgiven. This does not mean you must pretend that harmful behavior is good or that every relationship should remain exactly as it is. Like sheep sent into the midst of wolves, we are to show gentleness and not return evil for evil, yet stand nobly when we must give an account for the truth.

As you question whether to keep certain people close, ask the Lord for discernment to see each relationship clearly. Does it draw you toward Christ and help you live according to his will, or does it pull you away from him and into patterns that do not honor him. Seek wise and godly counsel, pray for a heart free from pride, and do not make a hasty decision in anger or hurt. Sometimes God allows our struggles to be intensified for a season so that we may gain greater endurance and trust, as he did with Abraham in his final trial, and he makes even what feels intolerable to be bearable when deliverance is near.

We are praying that God will grant you wisdom, peace, and strength, that he will teach you to forgive as you have been forgiven through Jesus Christ alone, that he will heal what can be healed, and that he will give you clarity to order your relationships in a way that honors him. May he guard your heart, keep you from vainglory, and lead you into the quiet and steadfast peace that comes from seeking his glory above all else.

Thank you for sharing this honestly and for asking for prayer. Carrying many problems in relationships at once is heavy, and questioning who should remain close to you is a serious and painful place to be. You are right to bring this to the Lord and to seek His help.

Scripture says wisdom is the principal thing, so get wisdom, and with all your getting get understanding. That is where I want to encourage you to begin. Knowledge gives you facts about a situation, but wisdom gives you the ability to apply truth rightly. You can know a lot about people and still make foolish choices without wisdom. God invites you to seek the kind of wisdom that preserves and keeps you when you love it and do not forsake it.

The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord. It starts with humbling yourself before Him, trusting Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and asking Him to be Lord over every relationship. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He is made wisdom for us. When you seek Him first, He will give you light for the path ahead. The Bible says if anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives generously, and He will give it.

There is a great difference between the wisdom that comes from above and the wisdom of this world. The wisdom of the world is earthly and sensual and leads to envy and strife. It sounds clever but it comes to nothing and it cannot help you know God or walk in His ways. Many voices around you may offer advice that sounds reasonable but actually stirs up jealousy, contention, and confusion. That is not true wisdom.

The wisdom that comes from above has a different fruit. It is pure first, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. It leads to purity rather than sensuality, to peace rather than strife, to righteousness rather than compromise. It helps you sow peace so that you can reap righteousness.

As you pray about these relationships, ask the Lord to show you their fruit. Do these relationships draw you toward purity, peace, honesty, and faithfulness to Christ, or do they pull you toward strife, envy, impurity, or pressure to compromise what Scripture teaches? God has set loving boundaries for our good, including that intimacy and living together belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Any relationship that asks you to step outside those boundaries is not leading you in wisdom, and it should not be affirmed or continued in that form.

Wisdom cries out openly and is available to you. It is more valuable than rubies or riches, and nothing you desire compares to it. Ask God to pour out His Spirit of wisdom and understanding on you, to give you an understanding heart. Bring each relationship before Him one by one in prayer, bring Scripture to bear on it, and seek counsel from mature believers who walk in the fear of the Lord. Walk in wisdom toward all people, redeeming the time God has given you, and trust Him to make your path clear.

I am praying for you that God will give you wisdom and understanding in His ways, that He will guard your heart, grant you peace, and help you make decisions that honor Him and lead to lasting good. May He preserve you and keep you as you love and seek His wisdom, and may He draw you into a closer, living relationship with Him as your Father through Jesus Christ.
