We want to thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting up your heart and your best friend before the Lord these past few days.
We were so moved by your words and we want you to know that you never need to apologize for sharing what is on your heart. It is true that our God cares about us all in every detail of our lives and no concern is too small for Him to hear, as we are reminded in 1 Peter 5:7. We understand how heavy it feels to love your best friend so deeply and to see him pull away and hide his emotions and pretend he does not care because he is afraid of being vulnerable and getting too close. We have been praying that the Lord will soften his heart and remove that fear and show him that you are a safe space where he does not have to hide his real self.
We continue to stand with you in prayer that God will restore that open and genuine connection between you and that your friend will feel safe to reach out and text you again and share his heart without fear.
