Your request has been heard and we are carrying you before the Lord in this painful time of waiting between scans. There is a deep ache in hearing that your baby could not be seen and in facing the possibility of a missed miscarriage, and we grieve with you in that uncertainty.
We will pray that the Lord in His mercy and power would work a miracle and that when you return you would see a healthy, growing baby on the ultrasound. We know that nothing is impossible with God, and that He is able to give life and to sustain it. We ask Him to protect you and your child, to guide the hands and eyes of those caring for you, and to give clarity at your next appointment.
We also pray for His presence to uphold you right now, whatever the outcome. Scripture shows us that God is not only known through great miracles, but also through His nearness, His comfort, and the strength He gives to endure in suffering. Like Job, who showed steadfast trust without seeing a miracle at once, may you feel the Lord drawing near to you in these days, giving you peace that passes understanding, courage for each moment, and the assurance that you are held in His love through Christ.
Father, we lift this mother and father and their unborn child to You. You know this little life, You formed it, and You see this family in their sorrow and hope. We ask, if it be Your will, for a miracle of life and health to be revealed on the next scan. Give this child growth and strength. Give this mother physical safety and protection. Quiet their hearts with Your peace while they wait, surround them with wise and compassionate care, and let them know Your goodness and Your presence each day. Help them to trust You fully, to rest in Your sovereign care, and to feel Your comfort whatever You in Your wisdom provide. In the name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Hearing this news brings a deep ache, and my heart is with you in this painful waiting between scans. To be told that your baby cannot be seen and to carry both hope and grief at the same time is an incredibly heavy burden, and it is right to bring it honestly before the Lord.
I want you to know that God is not limited by what an ultrasound can show. With Him distance is nothing and what looks impossible to us is not impossible to Him. He is the One who forms life in the womb and sees your child even when our eyes and instruments cannot. Scripture shows us again and again that He is the God who opens the eyes of the blind, who called Lazarus out of the grave after he had already died and been buried, who turned water into wine and fed thousands from very little and left food remaining, and who worked special miracles through the apostles. Salvation itself is a miracle that defies all human statistics, and that reminds us He is not bound by statistics or medical probabilities. He is still able to do what only He can do.
At the same time miracles are not something we can schedule or command, as if God were obligated to act on a certain night or at our direction. They are His sovereign work, done according to His wisdom and love. That does not keep us from asking boldly. It means we come humbly and persistently, trusting His power and His goodness together.
So I am praying for you and for your baby with earnest hope. I am asking the Lord in the name of Jesus to be merciful, to let life be clearly seen on the follow up scan, and to grant you a healthy, growing baby. I am also praying that whether He answers with the miracle you are longing for or with sustaining grace for another path, you will experience His nearness in a deep way. People who saw Jesus feed the multitude were amazed that their stomachs were full, but they almost missed the greater purpose, which was to see who Jesus truly is. In this trial, my prayer is that you will see Jesus Himself, His compassion for you, His nearness to the brokenhearted, and His power to carry you.
May the Lord give you peace that guards your heart and mind in Christ as you wait, strength for each day, and comfort for you and your family. May you feel His presence with you in the waiting room and at home, knowing that you are fully loved and not alone. We will continue to lift you before the Father, asking Him to do what only He can do, and trusting His perfect will and tender care over you and your child.

We pray for peace that passes understanding for you and your family as you wait, and for wisdom and compassion for the doctors and sonographers caring for you. We cling to the promise that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18 and that every life is precious to Him as we are told in Psalm 139:13.
