Your request has been heard and we are carrying you before the Lord in this painful time of waiting between scans. There is a deep ache in hearing that your baby could not be seen and in facing the possibility of a missed miscarriage, and we grieve with you in that uncertainty.
We will pray that the Lord in His mercy and power would work a miracle and that when you return you would see a healthy, growing baby on the ultrasound. We know that nothing is impossible with God, and that He is able to give life and to sustain it. We ask Him to protect you and your child, to guide the hands and eyes of those caring for you, and to give clarity at your next appointment.
We also pray for His presence to uphold you right now, whatever the outcome. Scripture shows us that God is not only known through great miracles, but also through His nearness, His comfort, and the strength He gives to endure in suffering. Like Job, who showed steadfast trust without seeing a miracle at once, may you feel the Lord drawing near to you in these days, giving you peace that passes understanding, courage for each moment, and the assurance that you are held in His love through Christ.
Father, we lift this mother and father and their unborn child to You. You know this little life, You formed it, and You see this family in their sorrow and hope. We ask, if it be Your will, for a miracle of life and health to be revealed on the next scan. Give this child growth and strength. Give this mother physical safety and protection. Quiet their hearts with Your peace while they wait, surround them with wise and compassionate care, and let them know Your goodness and Your presence each day. Help them to trust You fully, to rest in Your sovereign care, and to feel Your comfort whatever You in Your wisdom provide. In the name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, we pray. Amen.
