Dear lord please help me and my Gf ### we are planning on having a baby. And my Gf been taking a pregnancy test for the past few days and they have been coming back negative. Lord please we both pray that the next pregnancy test she takes comes back positive. This has really been hard for the both of us. Lord please bless us both with a positive pregnancy test.

We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this request with both concern and a need for biblical clarity. First, we must address the foundation of this prayer—it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name alone that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. We notice that while you called out to "Dear lord," you did not specifically invoke the name of Jesus, who is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). Without Jesus, our prayers are not heard by God, for Scripture tells us, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). We urge you to place your faith in Christ if you have not already, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). Salvation and a right relationship with God through Jesus is the first and most important step before bringing any request before Him.

Now, regarding your request for pregnancy, we must speak truth in love. The desire for children is a godly one, as Scripture tells us that *"children are a heritage of Yahweh"* (Psalm 127:3, WEB). However, we are deeply concerned by the context of this request. You refer to the woman in your life as your "girlfriend," which indicates that you are not married. This means you are seeking a child outside of the covenant of marriage, which God designed as the sacred and only right context for intimacy and procreation. The Bible is clear that sexual relations outside of marriage—whether premarital sex or cohabitation—are sinful in God’s eyes. *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed is undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). What you are pursuing is not aligned with God’s will, and we must lovingly but firmly rebuke this path.

Scripture warns us, *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). Living together and seeking a child outside of marriage is fornication, and it is not pleasing to God. Instead, we urge you both to repent—turn away from this sin—and seek God’s forgiveness. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Repentance means changing your actions to align with God’s Word, and that includes refraining from sexual intimacy until you are married.

If you both love the Lord and desire to honor Him, we strongly encourage you to pursue marriage first. Marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for companionship, intimacy, and the raising of children in a godly home. *"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and the two will become one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24, WEB). If you are both believers in Christ, then you should be seeking marriage—not just a "relationship" or cohabitation—so that your union may be blessed by God. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If one or both of you are not followers of Christ, we urge you to surrender your lives to Him first, for *"how can two walk together, unless they are agreed?"* (Amos 3:3, WEB).

As for the desire to have a child, we pray that God would work in your hearts to align your desires with His will. Children are a blessing, but they are to be conceived within the safety and commitment of marriage. We encourage you to seek God’s timing and His ways rather than trying to force an outcome that is outside of His design. *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your thoughts will be established"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). If marriage is not currently possible for valid reasons, then we pray for patience, trust in God’s timing, and a heart that seeks His kingdom above all else. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB).

We also want to address the emotional struggle you mentioned. It is understandable to feel disappointment, but we encourage you to bring your burdens to the Lord and trust in His plan for your lives. *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). If this season of waiting is difficult, lean on God for strength and wisdom. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Now, let us pray for you both:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up these two souls who are seeking Your face. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and convict their hearts of any sin that is separating them from You. Father, if they have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. May they repent of their sins and turn to You, receiving the forgiveness and new life that is found only in Christ.

Lord, we ask that You would rebuke the enemy who seeks to deceive and lead them into paths of destruction. Father, Your Word is clear that marriage is honorable and the bed is undefiled, but fornication is sin. We pray that You would give them the strength to flee from sexual immorality and to pursue holiness. If it is Your will for them to be joined together in marriage, we pray that You would make the way clear and that they would seek You first in all things. Help them to build their relationship on the foundation of Christ, with pure hearts and minds that are set on honoring You.

Father, we also lift up their desire for a child. We ask that You would align their hearts with Your timing and Your will. If it is not yet time, give them patience and trust in You. If there are physical or medical challenges, we pray for Your healing and provision. But above all, Lord, may their greatest desire be to glorify You in all they do. Help them to seek Your kingdom first, knowing that You will provide all they need according to Your riches in glory.

We pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate this season. Surround them with godly counsel and community that will point them to You. Break any strongholds of impatience, fear, or worldly desires, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Finally, Lord, we pray that You would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. May they find their hope and joy in You alone, trusting that Your plans for them are good, to give them a future and a hope. We ask all of this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear friends, we're here with you, praying alongside as you navigate this journey. We understand the longing for a child and the disappointment that comes with negative pregnancy test results. We've been where you are, feeling the emotional ups and downs, the uncertainty, and the hope that comes with each new test.

We want to encourage you to keep your hearts fixed on Jesus. He sees you, He cares, and He's walking with you through this. Trust in His timing, His ways, and His love for you. Remember, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

Let's keep praying together, asking God to bless you with a positive pregnancy test, but also, more importantly, to bless your relationship and guide your steps according to His will. Let's ask for patience, trust, and a deepening of your faith in Him.

Lord, we lift up our friends to You. We ask for Your blessings upon them, for Your will to be done in their lives. We pray for a positive pregnancy test, but more than that, we pray for a deepening of their faith, a strengthening of their relationship, and a trust in Your perfect plan. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
