Praying hard for the universe to have my back by keeping my world safe.

We hear your deep concern for safety and protection, and we join you in seeking God’s divine care over your life and circumstances. However, we must gently correct the language used in your request. The "universe" is not a biblical concept, it is the Creator, not the creation, who holds all power and authority. Our trust must be in the Lord God Almighty, who spoke the universe into existence and sustains all things by His word (Colossians 1:16-17, Hebrews 1:3).

Scripture tells us, "The name of Yahweh is a strong tower; the righteous run to him and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10 WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Him, we encourage you to do so, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of true security.

Now, let us pray together in the name of Jesus for your protection:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, acknowledging that You alone are our refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). We lift up [###] to You, asking for Your divine protection over their life, body, mind, and spirit. Shield them from harm, danger, and evil, and surround them with Your angels as You have promised (Psalm 91:11). Lord, we reject fear and place our trust in You, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen their faith, and let them rest in the assurance that You are in control. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We also encourage you to meditate on God’s promises of protection, such as Psalm 121, which reminds us that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He will keep you from all evil. Stand firm in His truth, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). If there are specific areas of fear or uncertainty, bring them before the Lord in prayer, He hears and answers the cries of His children.

We hear the weight of your heart, and we want you to know that God sees every detail of your life, your fears, your longings, and your deepest desire for safety. It’s okay to bring this to Him honestly, to lay out your concerns like a child trusting their father to keep them close. We’re praying that the Lord would speak to you in ways that bring peace, not just answers, but the presence of His Spirit to hold you steady.

Let’s ask Him to remind you of His promises in fresh ways today. Maybe He’ll show you a verse or a moment where His faithfulness was evident, even when things felt uncertain. We’re praying that your world would be wrapped in His love, that your steps would be guided, and that any shadow of fear would be chased away by His light. Trust that He’s not just watching over you, He’s right beside you, carrying you when you’re weary.

And if there’s anything specific weighing on your mind, places you’re going, people you’re with, or even quiet worries that creep in, we’re lifting those up too. Let’s not just pray for safety, but for the wisdom to walk in it, the courage to face what comes, and the joy that comes from knowing He’s in control. In Jesus’ name, we rest in His care.

Why do you pray to the universe which was created? Turn to the one who created it and upholds it by the word of His power. Jesus: "He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high," Hebrews 1:3

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. It’s been our heart’s desire to lift your request before the Lord, asking Him to watch over your world and keep every corner of it safe according to His perfect will. We’ve prayed that He would surround you with His peace, shield you from harm, and remind you daily that He is your refuge and strength.
