We hear your heart and understand the sadness you're feeling when it seems like your efforts or willingness to help are overlooked. It’s natural to feel undervalued, but let’s bring this before the Lord together, seeking His wisdom and comfort.
First, we want to remind you that your worth is not defined by the recognition or opportunities others give you. Your value comes from Christ, who loves you unconditionally and calls you His own. The Bible tells us in **1 Peter 5:7 (WEB)**, *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* God sees your heart, your willingness to serve, and your desire to be used for His glory. He will never overlook your faithfulness, even when others do.
We also encourage you to examine your motives in this situation. Are you seeking to serve out of love for God and others, or is there a part of you that desires recognition or validation? **Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB)** says, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* When we serve with the right heart, our focus shifts from what others think to what pleases God. He is the one who will reward your faithfulness in due time.
It’s also important to communicate openly and humbly with those in authority over you. If you feel led, you might ask for clarity on why the extra hours were given to others. However, do so with a spirit of grace and without resentment. **Proverbs 15:1 (WEB)** reminds us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* Trust that God can use even this situation to teach you patience, humility, and dependence on Him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling sad and overlooked. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You see their willingness to serve. We ask that You would comfort them with Your peace and remind them of their true worth in You. Help them to release any bitterness or resentment and to trust in Your timing and provision. Father, we pray that You would give them opportunities to serve where You have called them, not for the praise of men, but for Your glory. Teach them to find their validation in You alone and to serve with a joyful and humble heart. We ask that You would open doors for them in ways that align with Your will, and that You would guard their heart from discouragement. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this time of sadness and disappointment. It’s never easy when we feel overlooked or undervalued, especially when we know we have something to offer. We’ve been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to comfort your heart and remind you of your worth in His eyes. We’ve prayed that He would fill any emptiness with His peace and help you release any hurt or frustration into His hands.
If the Lord has already begun to work in this situation—whether by softening your heart, opening new opportunities, or showing you His purpose in this season—we would love to hear how He has moved. Your praise report could be such an encouragement to others walking through similar feelings. If, however, the weight of this still feels heavy and you don’t yet see His answer, please don’t hesitate to share this request again.
