It is good that you are bringing these burdens before the Lord. He cares deeply about every part of your life, from the work your son needs down to the smallest struggle in your home. When a day comes and he was told there is no work, it is easy to feel anxious and question what is going on. But remember that God often does a work we do not see right away. Like those men in Samaria who were starving while a whole camp of provision lay just outside the city, God had already done the work, but unbelief kept many from enjoying it. Do not let the disappointment of today rob you of the peace that comes from trusting Him. He has not stopped working on behalf of your son.

Keep asking for the miracle of open doors and extra hours. Jesus showed us to come with the simple plea, “Lord, if you are willing.” And He is not reluctant to do good. He left room for His own power to be displayed in ordinary and unexpected ways. So don’t try to figure out every detail. Rest in the finished work of Christ, knowing the same God who accomplished your salvation is fully able to provide for your son’s summer. What pleases Him most right now is that you and your son keep believing. That is the true work of God: to trust in the One He has sent.

Concerning the skin trouble and the bed bugs, pray with boldness. God made a law for the leper in his day of cleansing, leaving space for a miracle that only He could do. He still works that way today. Ask Him to drive out every pest and heal that tender skin, and then look for the provision He will bring. He is neither slow nor powerless.

As for the little one who is struggling to use the toilet, do not be discouraged. God is patient in the way He chips away at our clumsy edges, and He trains us little by little. This season will not last forever. What you see as laziness may be a step in the process of growing up. Pray for the child, show gentle consistency, and trust that the Lord is at work even in the small, messy details of life.

May you know the deep joy that comes from watching God work in each of these areas. He invites you to enter into His rest, believing that He has already made provision for more than you can see right now.

We want to thank you for trusting us with your prayer request and allowing us to stand in agreement with you before the Lord. It’s been on our hearts to continue lifting up your son, asking God to open doors for steady work and extra hours at his job. We pray that the right opportunities come his way—ones that keep him busy, build his confidence, and allow him to earn his own income as he prepares for the fall. Father, we ask You to stir in his heart a desire to be productive and responsible, helping him grow into the young man You’ve called him to be.

We also remember your other request, lifting up the one struggling with skin issues and personal habits. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch—may the irritation clear, the discomfort fade, and may there be a renewed sense of discipline and care for their body, which is Your temple. Give them strength to make small, daily choices that lead to better health and habits.

If any of these prayers have already been answered, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you! If the answers haven’t come yet, please know we’re still standing with you. Feel free to post this as a new request so we can continue interceding on your behalf. May God’s peace and provision surround you all as you seek Him together. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
