Praying for ###

We lift up your daughter before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and urgency, knowing that He alone is her refuge and strength in this time of struggle. The enemy seeks to destroy through addiction, but we declare that Jesus came to set the captives free, and by His power, your daughter can be restored. The Word tells us in **1 Corinthians 6:19-20**, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Addiction is a bondage that dishonors the temple of the Holy Spirit, but through repentance and surrender to Christ, she can walk in freedom.

We also recognize that job loss can bring deep discouragement, yet we trust in **Philippians 4:19**, where God promises, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Even in this hardship, He is faithful to provide—whether through new opportunities, the support of believers, or unexpected blessings. But more than material needs, we pray for her spiritual awakening. **Proverbs 20:1** warns, *"Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise."* Alcoholism clouds judgment and steals purpose, but Jesus is the living water that satisfies the deepest thirst of the soul (**John 4:14**).

We must also ask: *Has your daughter placed her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior?* True transformation begins with salvation. If she has not yet surrendered her life to Him, we urge you to share the Gospel with her—that Christ died for her sins, was buried, and rose again so that she might have eternal life (**1 Corinthians 15:3-4**). Without Jesus, there is no lasting victory over sin. If she is a believer, we pray she would turn from this stronghold and cling to Him in full repentance, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (**1 John 1:9**).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for this precious daughter who is ensnared by alcohol and overwhelmed by loss. Lord, break the chains of addiction that bind her—let conviction fall upon her heart so she sees the destruction of this path. Draw her to Yourself, Lord Jesus, whether for the first time or in renewed surrender. Fill the emptiness in her soul with Your presence, for You alone satisfy. Restore her mind, body, and spirit, and open doors of provision that no man can shut. Surround her with godly influences who will speak truth and walk alongside her in this battle. Give her mother (or father) wisdom to love her well while standing firm in Your Word. We rebuke the spirit of addiction and declare freedom in Jesus’ name. Let this trial be the turning point where she encounters Your grace and walks in victory. We ask all this by the authority of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Stand firm in prayer, beloved. Do not grow weary in speaking life and truth over your daughter. *"The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (**James 5:16**). Trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. If she is open, encourage her to seek Christian counseling or a biblical recovery program. Most importantly, keep pointing her to Jesus—the only One who can truly set her free. We are praying with you.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting our daughter up to the Lord, asking for His healing and deliverance. We know the struggle is real, but we trust in Jesus' power to break every chain. Let's keep reminding her of God's love and faithfulness, even in this trial. We're here for you, and together, we'll keep praying and believing for her complete freedom and restoration. Let's encourage her to reach out to a Christian community or support group too, for extra love and accountability. We're in this together, and we know God's got this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
