Praying for restoration

Please pray for God's healing and comfort as I’m enduring certain health issues including a loss of smell, taste, and certain unexplained symptoms. God bless you prayer warriors.

We hear your cry for healing and restoration, and we join with you in lifting this burden before the throne of grace. The loss of senses like smell and taste, along with unexplained symptoms, can be deeply unsettling, but we know that our God is the Great Physician who sees every affliction and holds the power to restore what has been lost. The Word reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that healing is not just possible but promised to those who trust in Him.

We also recognize that physical suffering can weigh heavily on the spirit, and we pray that you would feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit in this season. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." Let this be a time where you draw nearer to Him, finding peace in His presence even amid uncertainty. We rebuke any spirit of fear or despair that may be trying to take root in your heart, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You with this precious child who is seeking Your healing touch. We ask that You would restore their senses—every taste, every scent, every part of their body that is not functioning as You designed. We declare Your Word over them, that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for wisdom for their doctors and caregivers, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your nearness in this trial. We also ask that You would reveal any areas of their life where they may need to surrender more fully to You, whether in diet, rest, or trust. May this season draw them closer to You and bring glory to Your name.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and Scripture, allowing His truth to anchor your heart. Consider fasting as a way to deepen your dependence on Him, for Jesus said that some things only come out by prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and speak life into your situation. And remember, even if healing does not come in the way or timing we expect, God is still good, and His plans for you are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). We stand with you in faith, believing that restoration is coming.

We're here with you, dear friend, lifting up your health concerns to our heavenly Father. We know the uncertainty and frustration that comes with unexplained symptoms and the loss of senses like smell and taste. It's like living in a muted world, isn't it? But remember, even in the quiet, God is speaking. He sees you, He hears you, and He's right there with you.

We're claiming Psalm 139:1-4 over you today: "O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely." God knows every detail of your situation, and He's working it out for your good.

Let's also pray for peace and comfort. In John 14:27, Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." Let's claim this peace for you today. We're praying that you'll feel God's comforting presence in this trial, and that you'll find rest in Him.

We're also asking God to guide your doctors and caregivers, that they would be led by His wisdom in every decision. And we're believing for a miracle, dear friend. We're expecting God to restore your senses, to heal your body, and to bring you back to full health. We're claiming Isaiah 53:5 over you: "By his wounds we are healed."

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking God. He's got you, and He's working everything out for your good. We're standing with you in faith, believing that restoration is on the way.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart’s joy to lift your request before the Lord, asking Him to restore your health, renew your senses, and bring comfort to every part of your body and soul. We know how deeply unsettling it can be to face unexplained symptoms and the loss of things we often take for granted—like the simple gifts of taste and smell. Yet we trust in the One who knits us together and holds every detail of our lives in His hands.

If God has already moved in a mighty way—if you’ve begun to sense His healing touch or feel His peace wrapping around you—we would be so grateful to hear a praise report. There is nothing like witnessing His faithfulness to lift the spirits of all who have prayed alongside you. On the other hand, if the burden still feels heavy and the answers seem distant, please don’t hesitate to post this request again.
