Praying for pregnancy

Praying for my sister. Married before 3 yrs. No babies plz pray for her. And for myself i m longing for a second baby but all my efforts failed I also want to get pregnant plz pray for this and the health of my family members

We join with you in bringing these deep longings of the heart before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name, lifting up your sister, yourself, and the health of your whole family.

We are encouraged that both you and your sister desire children within the holy covenant of marriage, which God ordained and honors. Children are a precious gift from Him, as it is written, Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward Psalm 127:3. We remember how God remembered Rachel and listened to her and opened her womb Genesis 30:22, and how Hannah prayed, For this child I prayed, and Yahweh has given me my petition which I asked of him 1 Samuel 1:27. He is still the same God who gives power to make fruitful and who makes the barren woman keep house, as a joyful mother of children Psalm 113:9. We also hold fast to His promise that He knows the plans He has for you, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this dear sister who has been married for three years and longs to hold a child in her arms. Lord, You see her tears and her waiting, You know the desires of her heart. We ask that You would open her womb in Your perfect timing and bless her and her husband with children for Your glory. We also lift up the one who has submitted this request, who longs for a second baby. You have already blessed her with one child, and we thank You for that life. Now she waits and longs again, and her efforts have not yet borne fruit. Comfort her heart, take away discouragement, and grant her the gift of conception according to Your will. Let both of these women trust in You and not be anxious, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let their requests be made known to You Philippians 4:6. We also ask for Your hand of healing and protection over all the family members, that You would keep them in health and strength. We pray that You would give them health and healing, for You have said I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26, and we ask that You would let them prosper and be in health, even as their souls prosper 3 John 1:2. Grant wisdom to any doctors they may see and give them peace as they wait upon You.

We want to gently encourage you concerning the name by which we approach God. We noticed your request did not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to share that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confessing Him as Lord, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9. It is by His shed blood that our prayers are heard and our sins are forgiven.

We encourage you and your sister to continue to wait upon the Lord with hope, to seek Him together with your husbands in prayer and in His Word, and to trust His timing which is perfect. Continue to cast your cares on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We stand with you, believing that God hears the cries of His children and will answer according to His perfect love and wisdom in Christ Jesus.

We hear how much love is behind your prayer, carrying both your sister's waiting and your own longing for a second child while also holding concern for your family's health. That is a lot to carry at once, and it makes sense that repeated disappointment would leave you weary.

We want you to know we are standing with you in prayer, not just for the desire for children but for strength for both of you as you walk through this. Longing for a child can feel isolating and can stir grief and questions that affect not only you but your marriage and wider family. It helps not to carry it alone. If it feels right, keep talking openly with your husband and with your sister and her husband about how you are each doing, and alongside prayer consider sharing your concerns with a trusted medical provider who can listen and guide next steps.

We also join you in asking God for health and steadiness for your family members day by day.

Father, we lift this sister and her husband to You, and the one writing who is longing for another child. You know each hope and each disappointment. Grant them Your peace, wisdom for decisions ahead, care from good doctors and supportive people around them, and health for their family. May they know Your nearness and kindness in this waiting. Your supplication on behalf of your sister and yourself and the health of your household has been laid before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace.

There is a peculiar trial in waiting for the gift of children, for the heart longs and hopes and counts the months. Yet Scripture gives a blessed word to those who wait, for it is written, Blessed are all they that wait for Him. God's waiting people wait only upon God, not upon the arm of flesh nor upon changeable means, but upon the living Father who knows what we have need of before we ask. Every promise will be kept, though not always today nor tomorrow, for the Lord has His appointed season and His time is best.

You have asked for your sister who has been married these three years and has not yet been given a child, and for yourself as you long for a second child after many disappointed efforts. We understand the heaviness that can settle upon the soul in such waiting. Learn then to be as a weaned child upon its mother's bosom, content to lie in the bosom of your God, not fretting but trusting His wisdom and love. Waiting upon the Lord breeds peace within the soul and sustains courage, and though the blessing tarries, it is worth waiting for. He who waited long for us in our wanderings teaches us to wait patiently for Him, and to continue in prayer with great importunity, remembering that to knock at mercy's door and to wait for an answer is the way of faith.

Let us pray together.

O gracious Father, who formed us in the womb and who gives children as a heritage from Thy hand, we bring before Thee this sister who has walked three years in the covenant of marriage and yet remains empty, and this dear one who longs for another child and has known the sorrow of fruitless efforts. Thou knowest their desires and Thou knowest what is best for them and for their families. We ask, if it be Thy holy will, that Thou wouldst open the womb and grant the gift of life, that children may be given for Thy glory and for the joy of these homes. Grant them grace to wait upon Thee with hope that sustains and sweetens the waiting, and to cast all their care upon Christ who cares for them. We ask also for the health of all their family members, that Thou wouldst keep them in Thy tender providence, strengthen them according to Thy word, and make them to know that they are commoners upon the bounties of Thy daily care. Give contentment and perfect rest within, whatever Thy answer may be, and let their hearts be enlarged to serve Thee faithfully in the place where Thou hast set them. Hear us, O Lord, not because we are worthy, but for the sake of Thy holy Child Jesus, who lives and intercedes for us. Amen.

Continue to wait, to hope, and to watch, for the Lord is a waiting God and He will not fail those who wait for Him.

I join you in prayer for these deep desires of your heart and for your family. I have heard your request for your sister who has been married for three years and longs for a child, and for yourself as you long for a second child after many efforts that have not yet borne fruit, and for the health of your loved ones.

Let us pray together that the Lord who is the giver of all life and every good gift will be merciful to you both. May He grant conception according to His wisdom and love, and may He give strength and peace while you wait upon Him. We ask Him to guard the health of your whole family, to keep you in body and soul, and to fill your home with trust in His care rather than anxiety.

Remember that children are a heritage from the Lord, and that He hears the prayers offered in faith. Continue to seek Him with patience and hope, not measuring His love by immediate answers but trusting His goodness in all seasons. He knows what you need and He does not forget those who call upon Him.

May God grant you comfort, strengthen your faith, and keep you and your sister and all your family in His mercy. May He give you grace to rest in His will, to support one another in love, and to know His presence daily.
