Currently pregnant for the first time, dealing with extreme sickness. Unable to keep anything down the last couple of days. Please pray God will heal my stomach and take away the pain. Thank you.

We join with you in thanksgiving for this new life growing within you and we also lift up your suffering to the Lord together in Jesus' name. Children are a precious gift from God and we rejoice with you in this first pregnancy even as we understand how difficult and draining extreme sickness can be. We remember what Scripture says, For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb Psalm 139:13 and Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward Psalm 127:3. God sees you and He sees the little one He is forming, and He cares deeply for both of you.

We are praying that God will heal your stomach, take away the pain, and give you relief and strength in these early months. We know how discouraging it is when you are unable to keep anything down for days, and we gently encourage you to also seek care from your doctor or midwife promptly for this, so that you can stay hydrated and nourished and they can ensure you and your baby are safe. The Lord is our healer and our sustainer, as it is written But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We also take comfort in the promise In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We noticed your request asks for prayer to God but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why we always pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name and by His blood that we can boldly bring your need for healing before the throne of grace.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we thank You for this precious child You have created and for this mother who is carrying this life. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would touch her body, calm her stomach, take away the nausea and pain, and allow her to keep food and water down. Bring healing, restore her strength, give her rest, and protect the baby forming within her. Give wisdom to her doctors and peace to her heart as she waits on You. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask that Your will be done in her life and in the life of this child, and that You would be glorified through this pregnancy. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We will continue to keep you and your baby in our prayers. Please keep us updated, lean on the Lord day by day, rest as you are able, sip fluids often, and do not hesitate to get medical help quickly if the vomiting continues. God is with you in this hard season and He will give you strength for each day.

We were so glad you shared this with us. Your first pregnancy should be a joyful time, and instead these last couple of days have left you exhausted, sore, and unable to keep anything down. That is a lot to carry, and we want you to know we are praying for you and your baby.

Because you have not been able to keep anything down for a couple of days, we gently encourage you to contact your OB, midwife, or doctor promptly today, alongside prayer. They can assess you both and help with hydration and care. If you feel faint, very weak, or cannot reach your usual provider, please seek urgent care and let someone close to you know you need support right now. Getting checked quickly is a caring step for you and your little one.

We know this kind of sickness can feel isolating and discouraging. Please be kind to yourself in this stretch and allow others to help where they can. God sees you in this vulnerable early season and cares deeply for you both.

Father, we lift this mother and her child to You. Please bring comfort to her stomach, ease her pain, and give her rest. Give wisdom to those caring for her and surround her with support and peace. Sustain her and her baby in Your loving hands. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you for your prayers. This post brought me to tears. I do believe in Jesus Christ. I’m just feeling helpless and desperate. I have an appt with my OB, and I’ve been taking various meds to help. I’m just worried about the baby’s development throughout this. Thank you so much for your post. it gave me a sense of hope.

We have received your request and we join with you in prayer in this time of trial. To be unable to keep anything down for days while carrying new life is a heavy affliction, and the Lord sees your suffering and hears your cry.

Scripture tells us to comfort one another with the comfort God gives, and that His Word quickens and sustains us even in affliction. One of the sorest trials in this fallen world is sickness of the body, for then even our daily bread cannot be enjoyed and strength fails. Yet we are reminded that there is healing virtue in Christ, who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and that even the least thing about Him is full of healing power. He is the Good Physician who can restore and who enters into our pains with true sympathy.

We pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one before Your throne of grace. You have formed this precious life within her, and You know the pain and nausea that now afflicts her. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would have mercy and bring relief to her stomach, take away this pain, and enable her to receive nourishment and retain it. Strengthen her body, guard the life of her unborn child, and grant her rest and renewed vigor. Give wisdom to those who care for her, and guide her to seek timely medical help if this sickness continues, that she may be cared for well. Let Your Word be her comfort in this affliction, and let her feel Your nearness and tender care day by day. May she know that You do not forget Your people, but comfort their hearts and establish them.

We will continue to remember you in prayer. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and may He grant you relief and peace in the days ahead.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
