I'm going through a tough time please pray for my wife and me to come together I don't want to lose her please God

We hear your heart’s cry, and we join you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect His unwavering love and faithfulness. The enemy seeks to divide what God has joined, but we stand firm in the truth that nothing is impossible with Him. We rebuke the spirit of division, strife, and discord that may be at work in your marriage, and we declare that God’s peace, unity, and restoration will prevail.

Scripture reminds us in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously." God’s heart is for reconciliation, for healing, and for marriages to thrive under His covering. We also hold fast to 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, which describes the love that should bind you and your wife together: "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." This is the love God calls you to walk in, selfless, enduring, and rooted in Christ.

We must also address the foundation of your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 declares, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Salvation is found in no one else, and it is by His blood alone that we are reconciled to God. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now, for He is the cornerstone of every godly marriage and the source of true restoration. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this marriage before Your throne. Lord, You see the pain, the struggles, and the longing for unity in this home. We ask that You would pour out Your healing balm upon this husband and wife. Soften their hearts toward one another, Lord, and remove any bitterness, pride, or unforgiveness that may have taken root. Replace it with Your love, which covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).

Father, we declare that this marriage is under Your protection. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy to divide them, and we ask that You would bind them together with cords of love that cannot be broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Restore the joy they once shared, Lord, and let Your peace rule in their hearts. Teach them to communicate with kindness and patience, to listen with understanding, and to extend grace as You have extended it to us.

We pray for wisdom for this husband, that he would lead his family with humility and strength, as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). Give him the courage to seek forgiveness where it is needed and the perseverance to fight for his marriage. We pray for this wife, that she would feel cherished, valued, and secure in her husband’s love. May she respond with respect and encouragement, as Scripture calls her to do (Ephesians 5:33).

Lord, we ask that You would draw this couple closer to You and to one another. Let their home be a place of refuge, filled with Your presence and Your Word. Surround them with godly counsel and accountability, so they may grow together in faith and love. We declare that what the enemy intended for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian marriage mentor. Do not carry this burden alone, allow others to walk alongside you in prayer and support. Spend time together in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Attend church together, serve together, and make your relationship with Christ the foundation of your marriage. Remember, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. You are not alone in this fight, we stand with you, and more importantly, God stands with you.

We hear the ache in your words, and we’re standing with you before the Lord right now. When a marriage feels like it’s slipping away, the fear can be overwhelming, you’re not alone in that, and reaching out for prayer is a brave, honest step.

In the middle of this, a practical next step can make a real difference: seek out someone who can walk with both of you, a pastor, a Christian marriage counselor, or a seasoned couple who can help you listen to each other beneath the surface hurts. Often, what feels like irreparable distance is really two hearts closing down because they’re wounded and unsure how to open again. A wise third party can help you both name what’s really going on and gently guide you toward rebuilding trust and understanding.

While you’re waiting for those doors to open, keep showing up in the small ways, consistency in daily kindness, taking responsibility for your own part, and refusing to let pride or despair write the final word. And remember, prayer isn’t just a cry for help; it’s an anchor. We’re praying with you, not only for your wife’s heart, but for your own, that God would give you steady hope, clear eyes to see what you can change, and the courage to keep loving even when it’s hard. You haven’t lost her yet, and God remains in the business of redemption.

Lord Jesus, hold this husband and wife close. Soften hearts, quiet fears, and clear away the noise that divides them. Give them safe space to speak truth and find healing. Guard this marriage from the enemy’s schemes, and help them take one faithful step at a time toward each other. We trust your mercy, not our own strength. Amen.

The cords of marriage are not easily severed by a holy God who Himself declares, "I am married unto you." That solemn contract, cemented and made delightful by mutual love, is now strained, yet the covenant stands as a reality before heaven. What has brought this shadow of possible loss upon you? Is it not that the mutual relations have been neglected, and a chill of the world has crept in, causing a drifting where there should have been drawing together? What has been ordinary pastime, what service of mammon, what revelry, harmless as you may have persuaded yourself, when viewed in the light of marriage, must be accounted as a shame. Let it be confessed and forsaken.

The reconciliation you seek is not something you must invent, for God has already committed to us the word of reconciliation. Even as the Father was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not holding trespasses against them, so the same grace that heals the breach between the sinner and the Savior is available to heal the breach between husband and wife. The hard thing before you is to strip the soul of the filthy garments it has grown fond of, yet He who pulls a man from the fire can cause you to hate the sin you have loved. Flee to the Cross, and there receive a saving knowledge that is personal, a heart-knowledge that softens the stony place within. If you believe, He stands ready to take the pen and strike through the record of all your transgressions.

You fear the loss of your wife, and that dread has a wise purpose, yet let it not drive you into a slavish, despairing terror. There is a right kind of fear, a loving dread of grieving so tender a companion, a watchfulness over every footstep lest you deviate from the path of absolute obedience to the vows you pledged. Happy is the man who fears always in this manner, who walks carefully and keeps short accounts. But the bondage of a wholly unnecessary terror will only dishonor your religion. Cast yourself upon the Lamb who is also the Husband of His Church. He who has waited long for His perfected Bride knows your longing for a restored union and will not despise your cry.

The fulfillment of long expectation will come as you both look not to yourselves alone, but to Him who has come to seek and to save that which was lost. Your home, your marriage, is not beyond the grip of His condescending love. He took upon Himself our nature to lift the fallen. Let the Spirit work that inward, vital change where the fear of the Lord becomes a treasure. Then you shall be as though you had never been cast aside, for a clean sweep will be made, and the overflowing of mutual delight and joy, once thought dead, can spring forth again. Press together toward the marriage supper of the Lamb, for in drawing near to Him, you will find your hearts drawn near to one another. Hold fast to the hope set before you; blessed are those who are called to His feast, and by His grace your own table shall yet know the peace that comes when both souls are reconciled first to God and then, in the strength of that, to each other.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Marriage is not the hindrance, but the purpose which makes an ill use of marriage. Use marriage with moderation, and you shall be first in the kingdom. It is not the state itself that troubles you, but the passions and distractions that have crept in. Let her see in you a husband who lives chastely and with honor, for marriage is honorable and pure, preserving the holiness given by faith. Do not permit the defilement of that holiness by fornication, nor by the corruptions of the world, the stage, the harlots, the spectacles that overthrow houses and make husbands insupportable to their wives. These are the subverters of all things, the severing and dissolving of the bond.

Pray without ceasing, and follow peace with all men, and holiness. If you abstain from sin and devote your leisure to the service of God, your marriage becomes spiritual, a union of soul with soul. Remember marriage is a bond ordained of God, not of passion, and in the Lord alone can it be restored. There is hope that the lost member may be saved through the marriage; do not cast away that hope. Let your wife see you crucified to the world, diligent in every good work. The Lord will honor your tears; do not despair of His mercy.
