Praying for healing.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your need for healing from this persistent chest congestion. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Our Heavenly Father is not only able to heal, but He is willing, for He loves you deeply and desires your wholeness in body, mind, and spirit.
We also recognize that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 tells us, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We pray that you would honor God with your body, seeking His healing and wisdom in caring for it.
Lord God, we ask You to touch our dear brother/sister with Your healing hand. We rebuke this congestion in the name of Jesus Christ, declaring that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for the inflammation to subside, for the airways to clear, and for strength to return. Guide them to the right care—whether through rest, nourishment, or medical attention—as You lead. We also ask for patience and peace as they wait on You, trusting in Your perfect timing.
If there has been any neglect in seeking proper care or if this ailment has been allowed to linger without wisdom, we encourage you to take practical steps alongside prayer. James 5:14-15 instructs, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Do not hesitate to seek godly counsel and medical advice, for these are gifts from God.
