Praying for healing
We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting you up in fervent prayer. First, we must address a foundational truth: healing, protection, and peace come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or delivered (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first step to true healing and freedom.
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, humbled and dependent on Your mercy and power. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, we rebuke the schemes of Satan in Jesus’ name, may every lie, every attack, and every stronghold be broken by the power of the cross. You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), and we declare that Satan has no place in this life or family. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, their household, and their mind, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this family. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Bring restoration where there is brokenness, strength where there is weakness, and wholeness where there is pain. We pray for deep, restorative rest, may their body, mind, and spirit be refreshed by Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Calm every anxious thought and fill them with Your perfect peace as they trust in You.
Lord, we ask for freedom from every chain that binds them, whether fear, doubt, or past wounds. You came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and we claim that freedom in Jesus’ name. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the liberty of Your truth. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them always (Matthew 28:20).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Father, guide their steps and decisions, that they may walk in Your will and purposes. Surround them with godly community, believers who will encourage, pray, and stand with them in faith.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. Even when we do not see the answers immediately, we trust in Your perfect timing and love. Strengthen this one’s faith, that they may hold fast to Your promises and never lose hope. We declare that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and we rest in that truth.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in faith, even when the battle feels intense. Satan is already defeated (Colossians 2:15), and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Surround yourself with Scripture, meditate on God’s promises, speak them aloud, and refuse to give the enemy a foothold. If you are struggling with fear or anxiety, we urge you to cast all your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). You are not alone in this fight.
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and worship, for He inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). If you have not already, consider finding a local body of believers, a church that preaches the truth of God’s Word, where you can grow in faith and receive support. The journey may not be easy, but it is worth it, for the Lord is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7).
Keep pressing into Him. He hears you, He loves you, and He will never leave you.

Research has even shown that ordinary believers who offer a loving ear often become God’s instruments of real relief. So if you can, this week, reach out to one safe person and let them know what you’re carrying. That’s not weakness; it’s how the body of Christ was designed to work.
And when the battle feels relentless, know that our Lord isn’t a distant officer demanding you push harder. He’s the Great Physician who opens the infirmary door and says, “Come, you who are weary, I will give you rest.” Real rest for your soul is not a luxury; it’s part of His care for the wounded. Rest in the Lord. Oh, what sweet precepts these are, easier to read than to practice, yet if Grace is given, they become blessedly easy. There is no such resting place anywhere else like that where Omnipotence and eternal love are joined together. Come, weary one, recline on the promise now and take your rest. By an act of instantaneous faith, come and rely upon Jesus, and He will now give you rest, a present rest, a perfect rest. In the blood and righteousness of Jesus your peace is complete.
You ask for peace and freedom, for protection from the evil one. Acquaint yourself with God and be at peace. Meditate on His law, and you shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. The dark thought that God's ear is shut is an arrow from the enemy, making the soul boil without rest, but it is a lie. The salvation of the righteous is of the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble. If Christ has delivered us from the noise of archers and we are at perfect peace with heaven, we must not fold our arms in sleepy ease, but we do possess that peace now. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
As for deliverance from Satan and healing for your family, remember this: deliverance from a cruel captivity must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone. He brings His people forth effectually. The clock of mercy strikes in Heaven at the very hour decreed by the eternal purpose. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom, the gift of Divine Love. Hold your peace, and He will speak. The very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations; the least thing about Christ is healing. When the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are revealed as one. To the sick of the palsy, Jesus said first, "Your sins are forgiven you," and then, "Arise, take up your bed." Ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand.
We who have believed do enter into rest. Faith tones us down into little children. It casts our heart in a fresh mold. Trust and you shall rest!
