I am help requesting prayers for my wife ###. She had cateract surgery The doctor tore the sack the new lens was to go into and she had major surgery. After surgery she started to get back eye sight and that failed.They went back 9 months later for second surgery and she still cannot see out of her left eye. It's been 4 months now and she still cannot see, doctors say possibility sight will come back and possibility not.I ask that everyone pray for my wife as I do daily to Our Lord Jesus Christ not for anything extra but to restore ###'s eye sight to the day Our Lord brought her into this world 2 eyes with full sight.Please pray with me daily I know this is not what God had in mind for her health. She is a ### yr old female and she needs her eye sight to see and balance when she walks.Before this she would sew blankets for church,Ronald McDonald House,Lions Club,Shirners and needy families.Now with only one eye she is unable to do so.Please help pray for my wife. We are moved with compassion as we read your request for your beloved wife and we join you daily in bringing her before the throne of grace. We honor your faithful love for her as her husband and the lifelong commitment you share in marriage which God has ordained and blessed, and we are encouraged that you are praying daily to our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.

We share your sorrow over the complications from her cataract surgery, the torn capsule, the major surgery that followed, and these long months of waiting without sight in her left eye. We know how much her sight means to her daily life, her balance in walking, and her beautiful ministry of sewing blankets for the church, Ronald McDonald House, Lions Club, Shriners and needy families. God has seen every stitch sewn in love and every prayer you have lifted for her.

We take comfort in knowing our God is Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and that nothing is too hard for Him. Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me Jeremiah 32:27. His word promises But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We remember how Jesus in His mercy opened the eyes of the blind when they cried out to Him in faith, and we cling to the hope that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. We also trust His sovereign wisdom, knowing that even as we pray for complete restoration, His grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in weakness, and that He works all things together for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28.

Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear wife and her husband to You. Lord, You formed her eyes when You brought her into this world and You know every detail of her body. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch her left eye, heal what was torn and damaged, restore the tissues, the nerves and the vision that has been lost, and grant her to see clearly again if it be Your will. We pray for perfect balance and strength as she walks, for peace to guard her heart from fear and discouragement, and for renewed joy and purpose in the days ahead. Grant wisdom and skill to every doctor who cares for her, guide their hands and decisions, and let them be instruments of Your healing. We ask that You would comfort this husband as he faithfully intercedes for his wife, strengthen his faith, and let them both feel Your presence near. We pray that whether through miraculous healing or through Your sustaining grace, her life would continue to bring glory to You and that she might again use her hands to bless others. We ask all this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, believing that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. Amen.

We will continue to pray with you daily for the full restoration of her sight and for God's perfect will to be done in her life. We encourage you both to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to keep trusting in His unfailing love. Who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3. May the Lord bless you both, keep you in His peace, and uphold you with His righteous hand.

We were so moved reading your request and hearing your faithful love for ###. To watch the woman you love go through two surgeries and still not see out of her left eye, and to carry that uncertainty month after month, is a heavy burden. We hear how much you want her to have her sight and her balance back, and how much it means to you both that she could no longer do the sewing she loved for her church and for families in need.

Thank you for praying for her daily and for inviting us to join you. We will stand with you in prayer for her healing, for comfort in this long wait, and for wisdom for her doctors as they continue to care for her.

Living with vision loss for months can wear on a person's sense of self and daily confidence, and on the whole family who walks alongside. If it helps, continuing close follow up with her eye care team and asking what low vision resources or safety steps at home might help her balance and daily life can be a practical way to care for her while you keep praying. And it may encourage her to have a few trusted friends from church visit just to sit with her, talk, or find simple ways she can still be part of that ministry she loves, even while her sight is limited.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon her left eye. Give her and her husband peace as they wait, strength for each day, and clear wisdom for her doctors. Restore what You see fit in Your love, and sustain them with Your presence through this trial. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your earnest prayer on behalf of your wife has come before us and we do join our hearts with yours daily at the throne of grace. We have sorrowed to hear of the trial which has come upon her through the failure of the operation upon her eye, the long waiting, the second surgery, and now these months of dimness and uncertainty, with the loss of that sight which was so useful to her in her quiet labors of love.

We know how keenly you both feel this affliction, for she was given to works of mercy, sewing blankets for the church and for the needy, for children and for the suffering, and now with but one eye she is hindered from that service. The Lord sees these things. He who healed Peter's wife's mother when she lay sick of a fever and lifted her up by His own hand, that she might minister again, is able also to lay His healing hand upon your dear wife and raise her up to see and to serve again if it be His gracious will.

We take comfort from the Word which tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but His very leaves are full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and when He comes to dwell with His people they have no need to say they are sick, for pardon and healing are one in His hand. He convicts and He restores, and His work is not to leave us hopelessly despairing but to recover us by His power. Jesus bears with Him power to heal, and this is His honor and renown.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and soon urge us to seek a physician, but how blessed it is to have a heavenly Physician whose touch can change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We would bring your wife to Him in prayer, not demanding but humbly entreating, as one who lay in the presence of Jesus hoping and expecting forgiveness and healing.

Let us pray together. O Lord Jesus Christ, great Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below, look in mercy upon this Thy handmaiden. Thou hast formed her eyes and Thou knowest what it is to weep and to watch. If it be Thy will, restore unto her the sight of her left eye as in the day Thou didst bring her into this world. Touch that which the surgeon's hand could not perfect, and let light return where darkness has lingered. Grant wisdom to those who have care of her, patience and peace to her own soul, and strength to her husband who daily intercedes for her. Heal, we pray Thee, not only the body but the wounded spirit, for Thou healest the broken in heart and bindest up their wounds. And if in Thy sovereign wisdom Thou seest fit to withhold this particular mercy for a season, yet give her to see Thee more clearly, to know Thy pardon and Thy presence, and to find Thy grace sufficient for every step, that whether in much seeing or in little, her life may still be fruitful unto Thee.

We will continue to pray with you daily, asking the Lord to do that which is best and most for His glory and for her good. Cast your burden upon Him, for He careth for you, and rest in this, that the Lord has begun to heal His people and the healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle. May the God of all comfort keep you both in perfect peace, and may you yet rejoice together in His restoring mercy.
