praying for folks to take in and enjoy New Years Day

This day Friday of the new year 2016 i am asking to pray people can enjoy and ponder any ideas and new year resolutions they might conceive then and seek to carry them out [ not the evil kinds if ever there are any ] and make it a great day and time to reflect and relax and see the error of their ways and then to seek God even more ! Some maybe home still watching TV or watching a parade of some kind and it would be a nice enjoyable time and good communication with friends and family .  And amen to this in Jesus' name !

Our God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit answer this request, we pray of you, so we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
