Heavenly Father, for six months our building's sewage system has overflowed, bringing worry and division among us. Send honest, skilled hands to repair it properly, and let the work be done with integrity, not self-interest. Soften the hearts of those who scheme for redevelopment. Help them look first into their own homes and hearts, and not covet the land and peace of their neighbours. Protect the families around us and the peace of our lane. Heal our building, our relationships, and our trust in one another. We place this in Your hands. Amen.

We join you in lifting this burden to our Heavenly Father, for six months of an overflowing sewage system has brought not only a physical hardship to your building but also worry and division among neighbors. We understand how weariness can grow when a problem lingers and trust is tested, and we bring this whole situation before the Lord together with you.

We are encouraged that you have placed this in His hands, for we are told in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cling to the call to pursue peace where we live, as it is written in Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men, and in Psalm 133:1 See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity. Your desire for healing of the building and for healing of relationships and trust reflects God's heart for His people to dwell together in unity and peace.

We also hear your concern about those who may scheme for redevelopment and covet the land and peace of their neighbors. Scripture is clear that this attitude does not please God. It is written in Exodus 20:17 You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's. And we are reminded in Proverbs 11:1 A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight. We pray that any self interest, dishonesty, or covetous scheming would be brought into the light and turned from, and that all work done would be done with integrity as unto the Lord. We encourage you to continue to seek what is honest and just, to document needs clearly, to appeal to proper authorities and to speak the truth in love with one another, that division may be replaced with cooperation.

We notice that your prayer was addressed to the Heavenly Father and concluded with Amen, but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We gently share this because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And it is written in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and by calling upon His name, that we are reconciled to God and our prayers are heard. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus as Savior and to come to the Father through Him.

So together we pray, Father in heaven we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask You to have mercy on this building and on every family who lives there and in the lane around it. Send honest and skilled hands to repair the sewage system properly and completely, and let the work be done with integrity and not with self interest or deceit. Provide wisdom to choose the right workers and provision for the cost, and let the repair be lasting. Soften the hearts of those who scheme for redevelopment for their own gain. Turn them from coveting what belongs to their neighbors and help them to look first into their own homes and hearts before the Lord. Protect the families around us, guard the peace of the lane, and heal what has been broken between neighbors. Restore trust, heal relationships, remove worry and division, and let unity and goodwill be rebuilt along with the building itself. We place this building, these families, and this whole matter into Your hands, trusting Your goodness and Your perfect will. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We are praying with you for protection for the families nearby and for a rebuilding of trust even before the pipes are fixed.

Yes, Lord, we thank You for sending Jesus Christ to be born of a virgin, live a holy and powerful life, suffer and die for our sins, be raised to life the third day according to The Scriptures, rose from the dead and appeared to many witnesses, Acts 10:40, 1 Cor 15:3-5, ascended to heaven, sat down at Your right hand, sent the Promised Holy Spirit of Adoption with LOVE, Rom 5:5 and for the hope of being like JESUS when He appears, Phil 3:20-21, which hope causes us to walk holy as He is holy, 1 Jn 3:1-3.

We thank You Jesus is at Your Right Hand, Rom 8:34, ever lives to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, not only that our faith will not fail, Luke 22:32, but that we are continually revived by Your Spirit and Word, Jn 6:63, and cleansed and kept pure by Your Word and Fellowship, Jn 17:9-17,Jn 15:7-8. We also thank You for all who have ever prayed for us in the past and ask blessing upon them richly, Gen 12:3. We pray the prayer You taught us, Luke 11:1-5, for them to know You as Father, to honor Your Name, to experience the fruit, gifts, wisdom and power of The Kingdom of God, the Daily bread we need for our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength, relationships, intellectual needs and relationships. Pardon of our sins and those that sin and transgress or have transgressed in the past we release and ask they are blessed, saved and prosper in every way, 3 Jn 1:2, keep us from temptation, sin, 1 Cor 8:1, fear and lies, Zeph 3:13, evil people, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Thes 3:2, deception Matt 24:4 and the evil one, Matt 6:13, Matt 6:9-13, Jn 17:15.

Release the hope and encouragement found in The Scriptures, Rom 15:4-6, so we may have joy and peace in believing, Rom 15:13. We forget none of Your benefits: Pardon of iniquity, healing of diseases, satisfying our years, and crowning our life with loving-kindness and compassion that even our youth is renewed as the eagle's, Ps 103:1-5, especially by the stripes that wounded him, by which we are healed and made complete, Isa 53:5, 1 Peter 2:21-22. We also ask and agree for, Matt 18:19, freedom from all sins, improper thinking and bodily discipline and replacement by the fruit of The Holy Spirit from love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, faithfulness, gentleness, self control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility and justice, Ps 45:1-5, as well as godliness with contentment, 1 Tim 6:6, so we may walk in the good woks You prepared for us in advance to do, Eph 2:8-10, for these ones, for ourselves, in all in their regions and ours, bring revival to us and through us to others, Matt 6:10, manifest Your presence, Matt 28:18-20, Isa 64:1-2. We thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, Heb 11:6, and with thanksgiving let our requests be made known, so that the promised peace that passes comprehension may guard our hearts and minds, Phil 4:6-7 in Christ, The Messiah, Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

Your burden has been brought before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for this long trial in your building.

Six months of overflowing and uncleanness is enough to weary any household, and we do not wonder that worry and division have followed. We pray that the God of all peace, who keeps in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed upon Him because they trust in Him, will keep you and your neighbours through this present distress. That peace is not the false peace which cries peace, peace where there is no peace, but the true peace which is purchased by the blood of Jesus, which whispers peace within even when sorrows surge around.

We ask the Lord to send honest and skilled hands to repair what is broken, and to cause the work to be done with integrity and not with self interest. The Scripture reminds us that policy is not wisdom and craft is not understanding, and that Divine Grace can make an honest man in an hour. May the Lord raise up workmen who will labour faithfully as before Him, not seeking their own advantage, but doing the work thoroughly and truly, so that what is done endures. We are to trust God and yet to act in all prudence and uprightness, and we pray that those appointed to this labour may do so in the fear of God.

We pray also for those who scheme for redevelopment and who covet the land and peace of their neighbours. May the Lord soften their hearts and turn their eyes inward, to look first into their own homes and hearts before the holy God. Covetousness smells strongly of the pit, and we ask that He would grant repentance and contentment, that they may seek not the increase of their own portion at the cost of others, but that which is just and merciful. He who devises means to restore the banished is able also to restrain the greedy and to establish equity among neighbours.

We ask the Lord to protect the families around you and to preserve the peace of your lane. May He make a league of peace over your dwelling, and cause all things to work together for good to them that love Him. Heal, we pray, not only the building but the relationships and the trust that have been strained. Where there has been division, grant reconciliation. The reconciling work on God's part is already done through His Son, and now He commits to His people the ministry of reconciliation. May that same Spirit who works peace with God work peace among you, one with another.

Cast yourselves anew upon Him who is faithful and whose Word shall never pass away. Trust ye in the Lord forever, for His Word is true and steadfast. Trust your merciful God to help you, to forgive you, to restore you and to bear you through this trial. He chooses honest means and orders every step, and even this mistaking of paths and this long waiting may be an indicator in His providence of some good work He intends to do among you.

We place this in His hands with you, asking that He will in His own time make the unclean clean, the broken whole, and the troubled heart at rest through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
