God, I pray for a close friend of mine, her name is ###, I pray for ###, you will fill her with your clarity, love, light, peace, truth, and have her heal when it comes to trusting, please. God, ###, has met a man, ###, and she can’t trust him because of how ### treated her, I pray you can come in life, and put all the things I pray for her, into her life, please. God, ### is a close friend of mine. God, Thank you! God, I am no longer married, and so, I pray to you, you will send ### to ###, please. God, I was working on ###, before he was taken away from ###, and I pray you will send ### back into ###’s life, where I can continue working on him, please. God, Thank you! God, I pray for Jesus, I pray he too, is working on ### for ###, and he will pick up the phone and call ###. God, I pray for all I know. We join you in thanking God for this day and for His presence as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in your life and in the lives of your sons and daughters, your children, your baby brothers and sisters and your brothers. We give thanks with you for His mercy that is new every morning and we praise Him that you have lifted up the peace of Jerusalem before Him, for we are instructed to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they shall prosper who love you, Psalm 122:6.

We lift up your close friend to the Lord with you. We understand she has met a man but she struggles to trust him because of how she was treated in the past. We pray that God will fill her with His clarity, love, light, peace and truth, and bring deep healing to her heart. The Lord sees her wounds and He is the one who heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. We pray she will cast all her anxiety on Him, because He cares for her, 1 Peter 5:7, and that she will experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, which will guard her heart and her thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. We encourage her to seek the Lord first for her healing and to guard her heart with wisdom. If she is entering a courtship, we pray it will be with a Christian believer and with the goal of godly marriage, for marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled, Hebrews 13:4. We pray she will not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14, and that she will pursue purity and keep herself from fornication, which is sex outside of marriage, and wait upon the Lord's timing. We pray she will trust in the Lord with all her heart, and not lean on her own understanding, in all her ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct her paths, Proverbs 3:5-6.

We also hear your heart for the man you have been burdened for, the one you were working with before he was taken away, and your desire that God would bring him back into that life and into contact by phone so you can continue to speak truth to him. We understand your love and concern for him, and we share your prayer that Jesus would be working on his heart. We gently encourage you to surrender this desire fully to the will of God, for we must pray not to control or manipulate another person but to seek God's perfect will. We know that God desires all to return to Him, yet each person must choose to respond to Him. We pray that if it is God's will, He will open the door for communication, but above all we pray that this man will hear the voice of the Lord Himself and be drawn to salvation. We are reminded that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose, Romans 8:28, and that God has plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11.

We also lift up your own situation, as you share that you are no longer married. We pray for your healing and strength and that God will guard your heart in this season. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and we pray that if God wills another marriage for you in the future, it will be to a godly spouse who is a believer in Christ and that any future courtship would be entered with prayer, purity and the goal of honoring God in marriage.

We thank you that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and have access to God. We rejoice that you know this truth.

We pray together now, Father, we thank You for Your goodness and for hearing our prayers. We ask You to pour out Your clarity, love, light, peace and truth upon our sister's friend, heal her from past hurt and teach her to trust You first, and guide her steps in any relationship according to Your Word. Lord, we place the man who is on our sister's heart into Your hands, work in his heart by Your Holy Spirit, draw him to Yourself, and let Your will be done regarding contact and influence, not ours. Let him hear Your voice above all others. We pray for our sister and her family, her sons and daughters, her children, her brothers and sisters, cover them with Your protection and lead them all to walk with You. We continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for all we know, that at the end of the day we all may return to You through faith in Jesus Christ, believing in our hearts and confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, Romans 10:9. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We were so touched by the thankfulness in your prayer and by the love you have for your family and for your close friend.

You carry a lot of people before the Lord, your sons and daughters, your brothers and sisters, your friend who is struggling to trust again after being hurt, and the man who is now in her life. It is a caring, faithful thing to bring them to God and ask Him to fill her with clarity and peace and healing. When trust has been broken before, it often takes time to heal, even when someone new seems kind. That healing is rarely instant, and being a steady, patient friend who listens without pressing her to move faster than she is ready can itself be a gift.

One gentle next step we would encourage is to keep praying for her healing and for wisdom for both of you, while giving God room to work in His way and in His timing. Instead of trying to make a certain phone call or reunion happen, you can keep entrusting each person to Him, staying available to encourage her and letting Him guide what comes next.

We are joining you in prayer:

Father, thank You for this friend who is seeking You with gratitude. We lift up his family and his dear friend to You. Bring Your comfort and healing where trust has been wounded, and grant her clear wisdom and peace as she walks forward. Lead each of them according to Your will, and draw all of them closer to You. Your thanksgiving has been heard, and it is good to begin with gratitude for this day and for the mercies shown to you and to your household, your sons and daughters and your family. To give thanks and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem is according to Scripture, and we join you in that prayer, asking the Lord to bring His peace where only He can give it.

We also hear your burden for your close friend who struggles to trust because of wounds received from another. Mistrust is a deep wound, and healing must come from above. As it has been preached among us, the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and that tree is Christ Himself. He alone can purge the heart of fear and heal the memory of wrongs. We will pray that the Lord will fill her with clarity and truth, not by any power of our own, but by drawing her near to Himself. For we never get to God in prayer unless it is through pleading the precious blood, and it is Christ who brings us near, the Just for the unjust, to bring us to God. Pray for her that she may be brought to trust first in the Lord who cannot fail, for to doubt our heavenly Father is a wretched insult to His faithfulness, and He is not bound to promise what is not for our good, nor has He changed, since immutability is essential to His being.

Concerning your own desires for this man to be sent back and to hear your voice and to call, we must deal honestly with God as we actually are, and ask Him to deal with us in Christ Jesus according to our actual condition. Our only safe course is to come to God as sinners, shut up to free grace through Jesus Christ, and to seek to be well pleasing in His sight. Without faith it is impossible to please God, for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. There is only one way of coming to Him, and you must have faith to use that way. He that died and lives forever says, I am the Way. No man comes unto the Father but by Me.

Therefore we cannot ask God to bless or to compel any relationship or situation that runs against His revealed will. We hold fast to what God has revealed, that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that intimacy and living together belong within that covenant alone. To make God to be other than He says He is, or to ask Him to serve our own designs, is to make an idol of our wishes. The desire to come to God, the way to come to God, the power to come to God, the actual coming to God, these are all gifts of Sovereign Grace.

So we will pray not that God would bend another person to our will or cause a phone to ring at our bidding, but that His perfect will be done in your life and in the lives of this friend and this man. We pray that you will be firmly assured that to serve God is in itself gain, that it is wealth to be holy and happiness to be pleasing to God, and that God Himself will be your shield and your exceedingly great reward. We pray that you will seek Him diligently, acquaint yourself now with Him and be at peace, and that you will find your nearness to God peculiarly at the mercy seat through Christ.

May the Lord grant you grace to follow Him, to be healed where you are wounded, to be made sincere before Him, and to trust His wisdom above every longing of the heart. When we begin to examine ourselves and turn from all insincerity, then the Lord will accept us in Christ. We pray that you and your friend and all those you love may come to God as He has revealed Himself and by the way He has appointed, which is Christ alone, and so be prepared to meet your God in peace.

We join you in prayer: O Lord, be merciful to us sinners, draw us to Christ, heal us by His wounds, teach us to seek Thee aright and to be content with Thy holy will, and grant us faith without which we cannot please Thee. In the name of Jesus, who is ever near to God and brings us near, Amen.
