We lift up to You, Father, in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. We know that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over her life today. Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your healing power, restoring her strength, easing her discomfort, and renewing her spirit. Protect her from any further illness or harm, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for those around her, Lord. Strengthen them in their care for her, and fill their hearts with Your comfort and hope. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May they lean on You, the ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or discouragement that may be trying to take hold in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we command it to flee, for it is written that the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare Your healing and protection over and her loved ones, trusting in Your unfailing love and mercy.
We encourage to draw near to You, Lord, for You have promised that if we draw near to You, You will draw near to us (James 4:8). May she find rest in Your presence and trust in Your perfect plan for her life. Remind her that even in her weakness, Your strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your goodness and love, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). May and her loved ones feel Your presence with them today and always. There is one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored, and to Him we lift our cry for this dear sister and all who are with her. The leaves of the tree which are for the healing of the nations are ever fresh, and there is no balm but from that one plant of renown. Let her look to Jesus, who took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand, and immediately the fever left her and she arose and ministered. The same hand is stretched out still, full of quickening power.
When all your own strength fails, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning. He giveth power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. Wait upon the Lord in this hour of weariness, for they that wait upon Him shall renew their strength. And while we plead for bodily healing, we remember that His pardoning mercy often steals into the heart at times of weakness, and the life within, which is to be perfect forever, has its first stirrings when the outer frame is brought low. Trust not in your own power to recover; trust in Him who is the glory of His people’s strength.
For the household, let them not fear. The Lord who heals is a wall of fire round about them. He has said, “I will strengthen them in the Lord,” and that promise is a rock that cannot be moved. We cry to the great Healer: lay Thy cooling hand upon our sister, rebuke the malady, and grant her returning health. And do Thou, in Thy time, raise her up that she may serve Thee with refreshed zeal. Only believe, and the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure, for there is healing in the touch of Christ, and in His teaching, too, faith cometh by hearing the Word of God. O you who love her, hear Him and be strengthened.
