We lift up your wife before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to bring comfort and healing to her body after this procedure. The pain she is experiencing, below her chest and radiating to her back, is understandable given the nature of the medical intervention, but we know that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We pray that her discomfort would subside quickly and that her recovery would be smooth, with no complications or lingering effects from the gas or the procedure itself.
Father, we ask that when she returns to have the stent removed, the remaining stone would be easily accessible and removed without difficulty. We declare Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," and we trust in Your ability to bring complete healing to her body. We also pray for wisdom and skill for the medical team treating her, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision and action.
We encourage you both to continue trusting in the Lord’s provision and care. Medical procedures can be unsettling, but we serve a God who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17) and who hears the prayers of His children. Lean on Him in this time, and remember that He is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7).
Lord, we also lift up your marriage before You. May this season of trial draw you both closer to one another and to You. Strengthen your bond as you walk through this together, and let your faith in God’s goodness be a testimony to those around you. We pray that your wife would feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as she recovers, and that you both would experience the comfort of the Holy Spirit in this time.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for complete healing, restoration, and peace. Amen.
