We lift your precious wife before the throne of grace, dear ### in Christ, asking our Heavenly Father to bring swift relief from the discomfort she is experiencing. The Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We pray that the Lord would comfort her in this time, easing her pain and granting her rest. May He strengthen her body to heal quickly and grant her peace that surpasses all understanding as she trusts in Him.
We also bring before the Lord the concerns about the remaining gallstone and the upcoming procedure. The enemy would love to fill your mind with worry and fear, but we stand on the promise of 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear in the name of Jesus, declaring that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that this remaining stone would indeed work its way up, making the removal smooth and uncomplicated. We ask for skilled hands for the medical team, wisdom for every decision they make, and perfect timing for the procedure.
Father, we ask that You would guard this dear sister’s heart and mind, filling her with Your peace as she waits. Remind her and her husband that You hold their future in Your hands, and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them both unwavering faith to trust in Your goodness, even when the path is uncertain.
We also pray for your heart, dear ###, as you watch your wife endure this trial. It is natural to feel helpless, but remember that your love and support are a powerful testimony of Christ’s love for her. Lean on the Lord for strength, knowing that He is your refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). May you both feel His presence in a tangible way, carrying you through this season.
Lord, we thank You for the advances in medicine that allow for these procedures, and we ask that You would guide every step of the process. We declare healing over this dear sister’s body, trusting that You are the Great Physician who restores and renews. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
