We lift your precious wife before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, trusting in the Great Physician who holds all life in His hands. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach Your holy presence. We declare that by His stripes, healing is possible, and we stand on Your promise that You are the God who heals.
Lord, we ask that You go before the doctors as they perform this procedure. Give them steady hands, clear minds, and wisdom beyond their own understanding. We pray that the stent has indeed broken up the gallstone as hoped, and that the removal will be smooth and without complication. If there are any remnants of the stone, we ask that You dissolve them completely, Lord, so that Your daughter may be free from this burden. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also pray for your wife’s peace and comfort as she prepares for this procedure. Calm her heart and mind with the assurance of Your presence. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let her feel the warmth of Your love as she walks through this trial.
Father, we thank You for the gift of marriage, a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Your love and faithfulness. We pray that You strengthen this union as they face this challenge together. May their marriage be a testimony of Your grace, love, and provision. Help them to lean on one another and on You, trusting in Your perfect plan for their lives.
We also lift up the medical team to You, Lord. Give them discernment and skill as they care for Your daughter. May they be instruments of Your healing power, guided by Your hand in every decision they make. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in faith, believing that this procedure will be successful.
Lord, if there is any unforeseen complication or challenge, we ask that You intervene supernaturally. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your goodness, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue standing on God’s promises and to speak His Word over this situation. Meditate on Scriptures like Jeremiah 30:17, which says, “For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.” Hold fast to your faith, for the Lord is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
