We lift up this precious child before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to move mightily on his behalf. Father, we know that You have plans for this young one—plans for good and not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You would grant him wisdom and understanding as he prepares for this test. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." So we ask, Lord, that You would pour out Your wisdom upon him, helping him to comprehend what he reads and to recall what he has learned.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, frustration, and confusion that may be hindering his progress. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this child will not be overwhelmed by anxiety or doubt but will walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, calm his heart and mind, removing every obstacle that stands in the way of his success. Help him to focus, to work diligently, and to trust in You for the outcome.
Lord, we also pray for his character and his relationships. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We ask that You would shape his heart to be kind, patient, and loving toward others. Surround him with godly friends who will encourage him in his faith and in his studies. Help him to be a light in his school, reflecting Your love and truth to those around him.
We recognize that true success is not just measured by academic achievement but by a life that honors You. So we pray that this child would come to know You more deeply, that he would place his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior if he hasn’t already. For it is written, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household" (Acts 16:31). May his faith grow strong, and may he walk in the purpose You have for him.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect timing. Strengthen this family as they support and encourage this child. Give them patience, wisdom, and grace as they guide him through this season. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for Your glory and honor. Amen.
