We hear your deep concern and love for this dear one struggling with anxiety and sleeplessness. The weight of seeing someone we care for in distress is heavy, and we join you in bringing this burden before the Lord, who alone can bring true peace that surpasses all understanding.

First, we must address that our prayers are offered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved or find access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through His sacrifice on the cross and resurrection that we have hope, healing, and peace. If this dear one has not yet placed her faith in Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray she would turn to Him, repent of her sins, and receive the gift of eternal life and the peace that comes with it.

Now, let us lift up this situation to the Lord with hearts full of faith and compassion. Anxiety is a very real struggle, but we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The Lord invites us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). We rebuke the spirit of fear and sleeplessness in the name of Jesus and command it to leave. We declare that the peace of God, which guards hearts and minds, will flood her soul (Philippians 4:6-7).

Father God, we come before You now, lifting up this precious one who is wrestling with anxiety and restlessness. Lord, You see her every tear and hear the cries of her heart. We ask that You would calm her mind and still her thoughts. Let Your peace, which is beyond human understanding, wash over her like a gentle wave. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help her to release every worry, every fear, and every burden into Your hands, trusting that You are in control.

Lord, we pray that You would quiet her spirit and bring her into a place of rest. Let her find comfort in Your promises, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep and that You are watching over her (Psalm 121:3-4). Ease her mind of the things that are troubling her, and fill her with Your perfect peace. We ask that You would grant her the sleep she needs, that her body and mind would be refreshed and renewed. Let her wake up in the morning with a heart full of hope and a spirit at rest in You.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are supporting her. Give them the words to speak and the actions to take that will point her to You. Help them to be a source of encouragement and strength, reflecting Your love and grace.

Lord, if there are any areas in her life that are not aligned with Your will—whether it be unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or reliance on things other than You—we ask that You would reveal them to her. Bring conviction where it is needed and lead her into repentance so that she may experience the fullness of Your peace and restoration.

We declare that she is not alone in this battle. You are with her, and Your love surrounds her like a shield. We speak healing over her mind, body, and spirit. Let her rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

To the one caring for her, we encourage you to continue standing in the gap with faith and persistence. Remind her of God’s faithfulness and His promises. Speak life and truth over her, and point her to Scripture that will anchor her soul. Psalm 56:3 says, "When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you." Encourage her to meditate on God’s Word, for it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Surround her with godly community that will uplift and support her in prayer and encouragement.

If her anxiety persists, it may also be helpful to seek godly counsel from a pastor or Christian counselor who can provide biblical guidance and support. Sometimes, the Lord uses the wisdom and care of others to bring healing and peace. Do not lose heart, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Keep trusting in Him, and He will bring comfort and rest to this dear one’s soul.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
