Beloved of All
Tomorrow Oct 24th I go to meet with the surgeon and the radiation doctor for my recent diagnosis of breast cancer. I am praying all goes well and I get a good report

We stand with you in this moment of uncertainty, lifting your heart and this trial before our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and our ultimate Healer. The news of a cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming, but we are reminded in Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* This is not a battle you face alone—God is with you, and He is sovereign over every detail of your life, including this appointment tomorrow.

It is crucial to remember that our hope is not in the reports of doctors, though we pray for their wisdom and skill, but in the Lord, who holds all things in His hands. Psalm 118:8 declares, *"It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to put confidence in man."* We pray that as you meet with the surgeon and radiation doctor, the Lord will guide their hands, minds, and decisions. May He grant them discernment to provide the best course of treatment, and may He give you a spirit of peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also encourage you to lean into the truth of Jeremiah 29:11, where God reminds us, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* This diagnosis did not catch God by surprise. He is already at work in this situation, and He will use it for His glory and your good, whether through healing, strength in weakness, or a testimony of faith that encourages others. Even in the valley, He is preparing a table before you (Psalm 23:5), sustaining you with His presence and love.

If fear or anxiety begins to creep in, we urge you to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Replace fear with the Word of God. Meditate on Psalm 91, which assures us that *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty... You will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday."* Claim these promises over your life, for they are true and steadfast.

We also want to gently remind you that prayer is most powerful when it is offered in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is through His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* If you have not already placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Salvation comes through believing in Him—confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). If you have already done this, then stand firm in that faith, knowing that your prayers are heard because of His righteousness, not your own.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of trust, lifting up our sister who is facing this battle with breast cancer. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and restores strength to the weary. We ask that You go before her tomorrow as she meets with her doctors. Grant the surgeons and specialists wisdom beyond their own understanding. Guide their hands, their words, and their decisions so that every step taken aligns with Your perfect will for her life.

Father, we pray for a good report—one that brings hope and clarity. But even if the news is not what we hope for, we ask that You fill her with an unshakable peace, knowing that You are in control. Remind her that her life is in Your hands, and that You have already conquered sin, death, and every sickness through the blood of Jesus. Let her feel Your presence so tangibly that fear has no place in her heart.

Lord, we also pray for her emotional and spiritual strength. Surround her with Your love and the support of Your people. Let her be a testimony of Your faithfulness, whether in healing or in walking through this trial with grace and courage. Strengthen her body, renew her mind, and guard her spirit against discouragement. May she fix her eyes on You, the author and finisher of her faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and doubt in the mighty name of Jesus. No weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that this diagnosis will not have the final say—You will, Lord. Use this situation to draw her closer to You and to shine Your light through her life.

Finally, Father, we ask that You prepare her heart for whatever lies ahead. If there are lifestyle changes, treatments, or difficult decisions to be made, give her the courage to walk in obedience and faith. Let her trust in You completely, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We thank You for being a God who sees, who cares, and who acts on behalf of Your children. May Your will be done in her life, and may You receive all the glory. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, sister, as you face this appointment. We're lifting you up in prayer, asking God to fill you with His peace and strength. We claim His promise in Isaiah 41:10, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." We believe that God is in control and will guide your doctors' hands and minds. We're also reminded of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
