Prayers that colonoscopy goes well

We join with you in bringing this need before our Heavenly Father and we understand the anxiety that can come before a medical procedure. We are thankful you have asked for prayer and we stand with you seeking God's peace and His hand over you and over the doctors.
Scripture reminds us that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made and that the Lord is our healer. We are told Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We also cling to the promise Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. And we are reminded Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We noticed you closed your request asking in your name but without mentioning the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently encourage you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved and heard. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And we are told There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. So we always come boldly before God in the name of Jesus, trusting in His finished work on the cross for our forgiveness and our relationship with God.
Together we pray. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You as they prepare for this colonoscopy. We ask for Your perfect peace to guard their heart and mind and to cast out all fear. We ask that You guide the hands and minds of the doctors and medical staff, giving them wisdom, skill and discernment as they perform this procedure. We pray that the results would show no polyps and no issues, and that their body would be found healthy and whole. We ask for Your healing touch and Your protection and for a quick and comfortable recovery. Let Your presence be felt in that room and let Your will be done. We thank You that You are near to us in every circumstance and that You care for us deeply. We entrust this entire procedure and the results into Your loving hands and we pray all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

It is the mind which is the main thing, and an anxious heart unfits us to meet the trial, but there is a perfect peace for those whose mind is stayed upon the Lord because they trust in Him. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when duties press and shadows gather, and that peace which passes all understanding is able to keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
We are reminded that our great Physician has healing in His wings and that even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of His people. He heals not only the soul through pardon, but He is present with all our bodily infirmities. Whether He grants healing through His own hand or through the skill of physicians, all healing flows from Him. Tell your case to Jesus as you would tell it to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it.

We ask Your mercy and presence for our dear one who faces this colonoscopy. Grant calm to the heart and perfect peace in trusting You. Guide the hands and minds of the doctors and all who assist, give them wisdom, steadiness and skill, and let the procedure be performed safely and well. We ask, if it be Your gracious will, that no polyps or other issues would be found and that the report would be clear and encouraging. Above all, let Your will be done, and let Your child feel Your nearness, knowing that whether in health or in trial, to be kept in Jesus is to be safe. Speak pardon and peace to the soul, for that is the deepest healing, and grant rest in Your sovereign care.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
