My husband has 3 VA claims. We hired an attorney and they are not turning out to be the best. But we are stuck. It has been over 10 years dealing with this. Please pray that at least one of these gets approved asap. So we can move on from this stress and figure out our future. It is causing so much anxiety and worry. God please please please let them figure out their mistakes today and get this granted quickly. I feel god working in my life on so many thjngs. I am just asking he please let this one get figured out in record time so we can get this off our plate. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

We stand with you in prayer over this long and heavy burden you and your husband have carried for more than ten years, and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We understand how exhausting it is to wait on these VA claims, to feel stuck with counsel that is not serving you well, and to feel the weight of anxiety and worry about your future. The Lord sees your endurance and He hears your cry for relief. We are reminded that God is a God of justice and mercy, and He cares deeply about the stresses that weigh on your marriage and your home.

Scripture tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also take comfort in the promise to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 and to Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22

We know this waiting has tested your patience, but we encourage you to continue to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 Even when systems are slow and mistakes are made, God is still sovereign over every authority and every decision. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 What feels like delay to us is not hidden from Him, and He is working even now for your good.

We join our faith with yours and pray together.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear wife and her husband to You in the mighty name of Jesus. You know the details of each of these three VA claims, every paper filed, every delay, and every error that has caused this long wait. Lord, we ask for Your favor and Your justice to move quickly. Where there have been mistakes, we pray You would bring them to light today and guide those in authority to correct them with diligence and integrity. We ask that if it is Your will, at least one claim would be granted swiftly so that this family can have relief from this stress and clarity for their future. Grant wisdom to the attorney and to every official handling these cases, and give this husband and wife Your peace that surpasses understanding to guard their hearts against anxiety and worry. Help them to feel Your presence working not only in other areas of their lives but in this one as well. Strengthen their marriage as they walk through this together, and remind them daily, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 We commit their way to You, trusting that You will sustain them and lead them forward. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to keep casting this care on the Lord each day, to keep records and to seek wise counsel where you are able, but above all to rest in His faithfulness. He has not forgotten you in these ten years, and He will not forsake you now. We continue to stand with you, believing God will bring resolution and peace to your home in His perfect time.

Feeling stuck with an attorney you are not confident in, while your future feels on hold, would leave anyone anxious and exhausted. It makes sense you are asking God for at least one clear answer soon so you can breathe again.

We join you in praying for that forward movement, and for wisdom as you wait. The long timeline and the uncertainty make it hard not to carry this every hour, and we are encouraged that you are still noticing God at work in other parts of your life even while this one feels so heavy.

One small step that has helped others in long administrative waits is to create a little more clarity and boundary around it. It may help to ask your attorney for a short written update on where each of the three claims stands and what the next expected step or timeline is, so you have it in one place. And consider choosing one or two set times a week to check on it together, then giving yourselves permission to set it aside the rest of the time.

If the worry and anxiety feel overwhelming, it can also help to talk with a trusted pastor or counselor, and with your medical provider, alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this couple to You. You see every form filed, every delay, and the strain it puts on their home. Grant them wisdom, favor, and clear communication in the days ahead, and guard their hearts with Your peace as they trust You with the outcome. Give them rest and unity while they wait. Your long and heavy burden has been heard, and my heart is moved by the weariness of these ten years of waiting and the anxiety which now presses upon you and your husband.

The Lord knows what it is to wait, and you are not forgotten in this waiting. There is a waiting God who waits that He may be gracious, and when His time of love has come there is a final success to all His waiting. And there is a waiting people who wait not in despair nor in hesitation, but in hope, a joyous and assured hope of blessedness in reserve. You have waited long, and the blessing is worth waiting for, for waiting upon the Lord has an effect upon the mind which tends to strengthen courage and to breed peace within the soul.

You ask that God would work quickly to grant these claims and to lift this stress from your plate. We will pray that the Lord in His wisdom will order what is right and just concerning these three claims, that He will give wisdom where it is needed, and correct what has been mistaken, and open the way for a right and speedy resolution according to His good will. Yet even as we pray for this temporal mercy, we pray more earnestly that you may know that peace which is a present possession and may be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life.

For it is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is that peace which gleams with a heavenly light even in the midnight of this world of care. It is not a mere stagnation of thought or a lull of anxiety, but a filling peace, a well founded peace, the peace of God which passes all understanding, flowing like a river in unceasing activity from the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within.

Our Savior says, Do not be anxious about your temporal affairs. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. You are pressed by thronging duties and by sorrows surging round, but on Jesus bosom nothing but calm is found. Bear your sorrow with Him. Do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry and fretfulness, but rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him. Waiting upon God makes men grow small and dwarfs the world and all its affairs till we see their real littleness, and when a man is perfectly at rest within, he cares little for trials or foes.

May the Lord therefore keep your mind stayed upon Christ. May He lift from you this spirit of worry and give you His own peace, which is the peace which Jesus bought with His blood and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. Seek Christ first, and peace will come next.

Let us pray together. O God of Peace, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we bring this dear wife and her husband before Your throne of grace. You see these ten years of toil and uncertainty, the claims that linger, the counsel that has disappointed, the anxiety that by day and night would steal their rest. Lord, You are unmoved though we are troubled, bless them with Your peace. Keep them in perfect peace as their minds are stayed on You. Teach them to wait upon You as a servant waits upon his lord and as a traveler waits upon his guide, to know what You would have them do and to be led by Your hand through the whole voyage of life. In Your mercy grant wisdom to all who handle these matters, grant favor where favor is needed, and grant a just and timely answer as seems best in Your sight. Above all, let them feel that to do the will of Jesus is rest, and that whether loved ones are near or far, in Jesus keeping we are safe. Give them a calm within that no outward care can take away, and let them go in peace, trusting not in man but in the blood of Jesus which alone can whisper peace within. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Peace, who alone has made peace by His blood. Amen.

We join you in prayer for you and your husband in this long and heavy burden that has weighed on you for more than ten years. To carry anxiety and worry for so long is truly scourging to the soul, and we hear how weary you are and how much you long to be able to move forward and find rest.

We thank God with you that you have seen Him working in your life in many ways, and we pray He will continue to give you eyes to see His mercy and nearness even in this season of waiting and uncertainty. The Scriptures remind us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us, and to bring every request to God with prayer and thanksgiving so that His peace, which is far above all our understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We pray now for you and your husband, for the claims before the VA, and for wisdom and diligence for the attorney who represents you. We ask the Lord to bring clarity where there has been confusion, to correct any mistakes, and to bring about a just and timely decision. We ask that if it is His will, at least one claim would be granted soon, that some of this stress would be lifted and you would have wisdom to plan for the future. Above all we pray that God would sustain you with patience and hope while you wait, that He would free you from the constant fear and trembling that anxiety brings, and that He would fill you with His comfort and strength each day.

May the Lord grant you peace in the midst of this trial, provision for your needs, and confidence that your future is in His hands. We pray that He will guide every step, give favor where it is needed, and help you to rest in His faithful care.
