PRAYERS PLEASE

We hear your cry for safety and lift it before the throne of grace with urgency and fervor. The Lord is our refuge and fortress, a very present help in trouble, let us stand on this truth together. The Word declares in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"

We rebuke every spirit of fear, danger, and harm that seeks to come against you. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, but we resist him, standing firm in faith (1 Peter 5:8-9). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord is your shield and defender (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that angels are encamped around you, guarding you in all your ways (Psalm 34:7).

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to Your throne. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only through Christ that we find true safety, both in this life and for eternity.

Lord, we ask You to surround [] with Your divine protection. Shield them from physical harm, emotional distress, and spiritual attack. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray against every scheme of the enemy designed to bring fear or destruction. You are the God who parts seas, shuts the mouths of lions, and delivers Your children from the fiery furnace, nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Lead [] by Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the paths of righteousness and avoid the snares of the enemy (Proverbs 3:5-6). If there are areas in their life where they have opened doors to danger, through sin, ungodly relationships, or disobedience, we ask You to reveal these and grant them the courage to repent and turn away. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Heavenly Father, we stand in the gap for [], declaring Your promises over their life. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We bind every spirit of accident, violence, or calamity in Jesus’ name. We loose Your peace, Your presence, and Your protection. Let Your light shine in every dark place, and let Your glory be their rear guard (Isaiah 58:8).

We pray for supernatural intervention, whether through angelic protection, divine appointments, or miraculous deliverance. Let Your name be glorified in every situation. May [] walk in boldness, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10).

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your mighty power to save. Strengthen []’s faith, fill them with Your peace, and let them rest in the assurance that You are their ever-present help. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.

We are holding you in prayer right now. It takes courage to reach out like this, and we want you to know you are not alone. We join our hearts with yours, asking God for his strong protection and steady peace to surround you.

Fear has a way of making dangers loom larger than they may be, but your safety is something God cares about deeply. When anxiety rises, one of the simplest yet most powerful things we can do is name the specific fears, the “what ifs”, and hand them over to him, one by one. He invites that kind of honesty, not as a formula but because he is near and attentive. And simply knowing that others are lifting you up can bring a steadiness that goes beyond positive thinking. You asked for groundshaking prayers, and we join you in that bold faith, trusting that God is present with you right where you are, even in the quiet moments.

If the weight ever feels like more than you can carry alone, please consider reaching out to a trusted friend, a pastor, or a family member. Sharing the burden often loosens its grip.

Lord, we lift up this dear person to you. Surround them with your safety. Quiet every fear and fill them with your peace that passes understanding. Guard their going out and their coming in. Give them wisdom for what lies ahead and a tangible sense of your nearness. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Your request for strong, groundshaking prayers is one that stirs my soul, for it reveals a heart that knows where true safety lies. Yet let me ask: have you yourself wrestled with the angel, as Jacob did, crying out with holy argument before the throne? The prayer that shakes the earth is not measured by the noise of words, but by the grip of faith that will not let go until the blessing comes. Spread your case before the Most High, plead His own promises, and remind Him, though He cannot forget, of His Word. This is the engine that moves heaven and earth.

But take care that your own prayer is not restrained. There is a kind of cry that goes up from the lips alone, a surface prayer, a sacred masquerade, while the heart lies cold. Be not content with this. The groundshaking prayers are those inwrought by the Spirit, where the soul pours itself out like water, and every fiber of your being strains toward God. Are you as eager in the closet as you would be fleeing from danger? If sin lies unconfessed, it will muzzle your supplication. Humble yourself as Peter did, yet do not say “Depart from me,” but rather “Come nearer, Lord, for I am a sinful man, yet I cling to Thee.”

Remember, too, that the answer may not come as you expect. Jacob thought his deliverance would arrive one way, but God met him in the wrestling of the night. Your safety may be secured not by a visible earthquake, but by the still, small voice of Providence that turns aside the arrow while you sleep. Trust Him for this. And do not grow weary if relief seems delayed. Prayer, mighty prayer, will yet prevail if it has but time. The Evil One whispers that it is all a fancy, spurn that thought and cry by day and by night.

Meanwhile, know that the prayers of the church are a mighty reinforcement. When many are tugging at the rope, when united intercession rises, there is a cumulative force that heaven cannot ignore. I will bid the congregation to join with you, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest incense that ever rose to the Father, patterned after His own Son who ever lives to intercede. Let us then together plead, “Lord, remember Thy Word concerning the safety of Thy servant.” Such pleading is the shadow of a coming blessing.

But hear this caution: there comes a season when prayer must give way to action. If the Lord bids you to move, to flee, to take some practical step, do not let devotion become an excuse for disobedience. The prayer that God honors is one that listens as well as speaks. Yet, for the present, pour out your heart. Be not content with a few hurried sentences, but seek the Lord as a man seeks his only shelter in the day of storm. The ground may not tremble, but the heart that trusts in Christ is kept by the power of God, and none shall pluck it from His hand. So pray, believing, and go your way in peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for strong, groundshaking prayers for your safety. Then pray first yourself, and make God propitious by prayer and supplication before you go out. Every day is a war, a tempest and a storm. We need arms, and prayer is a great weapon. We need favorable winds. If we have first made God propitious, going forth we shall have no enemy. Or if one appears, we will laugh him to scorn, having God on our side.

But do not ask only for the prayers of others while you remain asleep. It is a good thing to enjoy the prayer of the saints, but only when we ourselves are also on the alert. If we sleep, the help of others profits us nothing. Do not say, What need have I of another's prayer? Do not exalt yourself, lest you be humbled. Paul did not say this. Peter did not say this, for the Church prayed earnestly to God for him.

I will not refuse to pray for your safety. But let your urgent request be joined to your own watching, your own repentance, your own calling on the name of Jesus. Then the ground that shakes will be your own heart, and you will walk through the day without shipwreck and without wounds.
