Beloved of All
I will pray for you as you have asked, that the Lord watches over you whenever you leave home, keeps you safe through the day, and brings you back again. It is right to ask this, because our going out and our coming in really are in His hands.
But remember that the deepest safety is not only arriving home safely at night. The call in Scripture is to return to the Lord with your whole heart. He is merciful, and He invites us to come back to Him again and again. Jesus is our true protection. So while you ask for a safe day, also ask Him to keep your heart near Him. That way every return home becomes a reminder that you are held by Christ, not only for this life, but for the life to come.
