Prayers Please

Beloved of All
DEAR GOD, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE. AMEN. I AM SCARED. PLEASE LET NO HARM COME TO ME. AMEN.

We hear your cry for safety and protection, and we join you in lifting this deep fear before the Lord. Your repetition of this plea shows how heavy this burden is on your heart, and we want you to know that God hears you. The Bible assures us, "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1 WEB). Even in moments of terror, God is your refuge.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to paralyze you. Scripture tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Fear does not come from God, and we stand against it in the name of Jesus. You are not alone, God is with you, and we pray that you would feel His presence surrounding you like a shield.

We also want to gently remind you that our prayers are lifted to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to consider doing so. Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the first step to true peace.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is gripped by fear. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who delivers. We ask that You would wrap Your arms of protection around them, shielding them from all harm and danger. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Calm their spirit, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2 WEB). We rebuke every spirit of fear in the name of Jesus and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High (Psalm 91:1 WEB). Strengthen their faith, Father, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB). We pray for Your divine intervention in every situation that causes them fear, and we ask that You would fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18 WEB). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on Psalm 91, which is a powerful declaration of God’s protection. Speak it over your life, especially when fear tries to creep in. You are not abandoned, God is your defender, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB). Keep pressing into Him, and let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105 WEB). You are deeply loved, and we stand with you in faith.

We hear the fear in your words, and we are holding you up in prayer right now. When the feeling of danger is so strong, even if we cannot see the threat with our eyes, the weight of it is very real.

In moments like this, our minds can race ahead of us, painting worst-case scenarios. One thing that sometimes helps is to ground ourselves in something simple and physical: feel the floor beneath your feet, notice the texture of something you’re holding, take a slow, gentle breath. This is not a cure, but it can be a way to give your body a little signal of safety while we pray.

You are not alone in this. God’s presence is not distant from your fear, He is right there with you in the middle of it. He does not sleep, and He does not look away from you.

We also want to gently encourage you: if this kind of gripping fear keeps coming back, it can be a real relief to talk to a wise counselor or a doctor. Fear like this can sometimes be a symptom of something going on in our bodies or minds, and there is no shame in getting help for it.

Lord, we lift up this precious person to You right now. You hear their cry and see their trembling. We ask You to wrap them in Your peace that surpasses understanding. Pull a hedge of protection around them that no harm can break through. Quiet the racing thoughts and calm the pounding heart. In the places where they feel most alone, let them sense Your nearness. We ask this in the strong name of Jesus. Amen.

You have lifted your voice to heaven again and again with that urgent cry, "Keep me safe," and it reaches the ear of the Lord of Hosts. It is the prayer of a soul that feels its own weakness, and that is a gracious sign, for when we are weak, He is strong. Let the answer come to you from His own Word: "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust." See the tenderness there, not the cold plate of a soldier’s armour, but the warm, living shield of a mother bird. There is homeliness, relationship, heart-working in it. He would not merely protect you from danger, but communicate a sense of comfort and happiness, making you feel at home under the shadow of the Almighty. So rest there, as a little chick under the soft feathers, and let your soul be quiet.

Yet the fear still rises. Then hear the Lord’s own command: "Fear not." He does not qualify it; He does not say, "Fear only in moderation." No, the precept is absolute, "Fear not." Why? Because fear dishonours God. Doubt the Eternal? Distrust the arm that piled the heavens? That is a traitorous fear. Has He not said, "I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee"? Here is a whip of many thongs to drive fear away. Everything in the future is appointed by God. You fear some unknown harm, but it is also appointed that His help shall meet it. You tremble at the thought of peril, but it is fixed that you shall be carried through. In the good ship of Providence, with a Captain who has forearranged all things from the beginning, how safe you are! The storm may howl, but the helm is in hands that cannot err.

Think not that this fear is a small thing. It weakens you, and it gives the lie to God’s promise. To fear man or circumstance is to make an idol of the creature. The only fear that becomes you is a holy awe of God, a childlike reverence that flows from knowing your sins are forgiven. But the fear that clamours, "What shall become of me?", that is to be chased away. When your heart cries out in terror, look to Jesus. He who stilled the sea with a word now whispers to His trembling servant, "It is I; be not afraid." Let that voice silence the inward tempest. If you have fled to Him for refuge, you are immortal till your work is done; no real harm can touch that part which is hid with Christ. Men may threaten, but "fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul." Disease may come, but He has said, "I will make all his bed in his sickness." Each hour, each place of difficulty, is made secure to the faithful soul that rests beneath the wings of the eternal God.

Therefore, bid your unbelief depart. Cast yourself on the promise: "I will help thee, saith the Lord." Then why should you fear? Amid the wreck of matter and the crash of worlds, safe, safe, safe shall you be, for you are near your God. Let this oracle roll sweetly into your soul and give you peace. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out for safety, and that is natural when fear grips the heart. But consider what true safety is and where it lies. The one who is conscious of no evil suffers nothing dreadful; it is the doer of evil who has cause to tremble. If your conscience is clear, why should you be afraid of harm? The extortioners, the covetous, the unjust, they are the ones who live in constant terror, suspecting even their own household, never at peace. But righteousness, like a kindly mother, places us in safety. The Lord is a stronghold for those who fear Him.

Do not think that safety means never facing danger. Look at how the disciples were terrified on the sea, and Christ did not deliver them at once but let them bear the trial manfully. When they thought they were about to be delivered, their fear only heightened. God often permits the things that seem to hurt us to become the very means of our benefit. Joseph’s mistress plotted his ruin, but her scheming placed him in true safety. The prison was gentler than the house where that wild beast dwelt, for there he had feared daily for his soul, but in prison he found security and peace with God. His brothers sold him, yet they freed him from dwelling with those who hated him. Learn from this: when you are in a place of fear, you may actually be in the safest place of all, if God has ordered it so.

You pray to be kept safe, and rightly so. But the highest safety is to be with Christ, following Him wherever He leads. He tells us to take up our cross and be ever prepared against dangers and even death. Yet the prize is this: that where He is, there we shall be also. If he who sees the light of this world is in safety, how much more the one who stays close to Christ and does not separate from Him. Do not seek to avoid every difficulty; seek to be a chosen vessel, ready even to suffer for His name. That very awareness of what may be suffered brings a courage beyond all earthly comfort.

Let not fear master you. The ambitious soul clings to things that harm because of pride, and the one who thinks he stands secure in his own strength is the one who must take heed lest he fall. But if you walk in righteousness, you possess the goods of all men in safety; you need not tremble at hunger or poverty or threats. Fear God, not men or circumstances. The barbarians left their country to worship Christ with great trembling; we who are citizens of heaven must imitate that zeal, not cower in dread. Your prayer is heard not when all danger is removed, but when your soul rests in the one who truly keeps you, making even your enemies instruments of your preservation.

I hear the raw fear in your words, that desperate cry for safety. When terror closes in, it can feel like you are utterly alone, bracing for harm. But true safety does not depend on a quiet life or a strong defense. The Lord alone is the place of refuge. A horse is prepared for battle, but safety comes from Him. Unless He watches over you, every other attempt to protect yourself is in vain. So I do pray that He would guard you from what you dread, but even more, I want you to see where your confidence truly belongs.

Fear of your circumstances will become a snare. It will trap you in panic and push you toward wrong reactions. But fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, the starting point of real knowledge. To fear Him means to hate what is evil and to trust His counsel. And here is the mystery: when you set your heart on that holy fear, the other fears begin to lose their grip. Faith and fear cannot occupy the same space. The moment you consciously remember that the Lord is with you, fear departs. David walked through the valley of the shadow of death and refused to be afraid, not because danger vanished, but because he knew, “You are with me.” The presence of God dispels the terror.

So I urge you not to fixate on the thing that threatens. Keep your heart with all diligence, because the whole course of your life springs from it. Fill that heart with who God is and what He has promised. The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe. Run there now. Abide in Christ; He will be your defense. Do not fear sudden disaster or the storm that breaks over the wicked, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being taken. He is faithful to His promises.

I am praying that He quiets your spirit and surrounds you with His peace. Let your faith hold firm. Trust in Him, not in your own strength or the absence of trouble. He alone is your keeper.

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us by sharing your heart and allowing us to stand with you in prayer these past few days. Your cry for safety has been lifted up before our Heavenly Father, and we have prayed fervently that He would surround you with His divine protection, shielding you from all harm and fear. It is our hope and prayer that you have felt His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

If the Lord has answered your prayer in a way that brings you comfort and assurance, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how God has moved in your life so that we may rejoice with you and give Him all the glory.

If, however, you still find yourself feeling afraid or uncertain, we encourage you to post your request again. We are here to continue lifting you up in prayer, standing in agreement with you as you seek the Lord’s protection and peace. Remember the words of Psalm 91: "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" Let these truths anchor your heart as you press into Him.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, His peace, and His unwavering protection as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
