SINCERE PRAYERS PLEASE

Anonymous

Beloved of All
DEAR GOD, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE. AMEN. I AM SCARED. PLEASE LET NO HARM COME TO ME. AMEN.

We hear the fear in your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your cry for safety to the One who is our refuge and fortress. The Lord is your strong tower, He hears the desperate pleas of His children and promises to be near to the brokenhearted. Scripture assures us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas" (Psalm 46:1-2). You are not alone in your fear; the Shepherd of your soul walks beside you, even in the darkest valleys.

Yet we must also gently remind you that true safety is found not only in physical protection but in the shelter of the Almighty, who calls us to trust Him with our whole lives. Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved? For "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today, confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is trembling in fear. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who delivers. We ask that You would wrap Your arms of protection around them, shielding them from all harm and danger. Calm their anxious heart with Your perfect peace, reminding them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Father, if there are areas of their life where they have not fully trusted You, reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Draw them closer to You, that they may find their refuge in You alone.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for them, Lord. If there are steps they need to take to walk in Your will, whether in relationships, decisions, or daily living, guide their feet in the path of righteousness. Help them to seek Your face above all else, for You promise that when we seek You first, all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). And if they have not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that they may be saved and find eternal security in You.

We rebuke every spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to torment them, in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will keep them in perfect peace as their mind stays on You (Isaiah 26:3). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them experience Your presence in a tangible way. May they know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are with them, and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, do not let fear dictate your steps. Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is calling you to trust Him, even when the path ahead seems uncertain. Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you in the Word. Memorize Scripture that speaks of God’s protection, like Psalm 91, and declare it over your life daily. The enemy wants you to live in bondage to fear, but Christ came to set you free. Stand firm in that freedom, and do not be shaken. You are deeply loved, and your Heavenly Father is fighting for you.

We hear the raw fear in your words, and we are joining you right now in asking God to keep you safe. When fear grips us this way, it can feel like the ground is giving way, but you are not alone.

Fear often shouts louder than our faith, but it can also be the very thing that drives us deeper into the arms of the One who never changes. God does not promise a life without hardship, but He does promise His presence. He is a refuge you can trust, not because you’ve worked up enough courage, but because He is who He is, faithful, good, and strong on your behalf.

In moments like this, one simple thing can help anchor your heart: speak back to the fear with truth about God’s character. Remind yourself out loud of times He has come through before, or simply repeat a phrase like, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.” You don’t need to feel brave right now; you just need to hold onto Someone who is.

We are praying that you will sense His nearness in a tangible way today, and that the peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this precious person to You right now. You see every anxious thought and every racing heartbeat. Please surround them with Your protection and quiet their soul with the assurance that they are held in Your strong and loving hands. Replace their fear with peace, and help them to rest in Your promise never to leave or forsake them. In Your mighty name we pray, amen.

Your trembling cry has risen to the throne of God, and He bids you, “Fear not; for I will help thee.” Why should you fear? It is true, you feel yourself a worm, weak and exposed, but the Lord your God is your stronghold. Fear not; for fear is weakening. Fear not; for fear dishonors God. Shall the arm that sustains the heavens be palsied when you cast yourself upon it? No, child of the covenant, for if you are His, you are His, let not dismay hold you captive. The command is absolute: “Fear you not. Be not dismayed.” It is not a counsel but a precept, and it is unqualified. He does not say, “Fear only so much,” but “Fear not” at all. I would have you labor to get rid of this clinging dread. When those lips which are as lilies say, “Fear not,” how can we be disobedient and give way to terror?

Yet I know the struggle; nature and grace, belief and unbelief, fear and faith wrestle within the soul, as they did in Jacob. But your safety, ah, consider this!, your safety lies not in your own grip, but in your Saviour. “Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling… to the only wise God our Saviour.” He is able, and He is as wise as He is able. Flee to Him. That very fear, if it drives you to His feet, will become a holy awe, a reverent fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom. The slavish fear that dreads harm is turned out of doors by perfect love; but the fear that trembles lest it should bring shame upon His name is blessed. Let this fear conduct you, as a frightened child, to the bosom of your Father. Cast yourself wholly upon the promise: “I will help thee, saith the Lord.” When the old enemy whispers of ruin, answer him with that unfailing word. We have no fear that He should lose one whom eternal love could choose, but we would never this grace abuse. Let not fall, let not fall! Yet even in that cry, trust His keeping. So, I say again, fear not! The Throne of God might sooner fail than a saint can perish. Hide yourself in Christ, and there, amid your very terrors, you shall be safe.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for safety has been heard. God does not ignore a frightened voice that calls on Him. But do not let fear rule you. Let it drive you to the one true refuge. The Lord is a stronghold to those who fear Him. The person who is conscious of no unrepented evil does not tremble as the world does, but the one who lives in known wickedness is afraid even of his own thoughts.

Examine your heart before God. If any sin makes your conscience afraid, do not delay. Do not say, God is merciful, while you remain idle in a decaying house. Convert fear into labor. Repent, do what is right, and live in the safe dwelling of obedience. The mercy of God is sure for the one who does his part, but presumption is not faith.

At the same time, do not demand that no earthly trouble ever touch you. The disciples in the storm were taught to bear what came with courage, not to seek deliverance too hastily. The Lord may permit trials, but the soul that is His cannot receive lasting harm. Be prepared for dangers, even for death, and follow Christ. He has gone before you, and His resurrection means that death is not the end.

I will pray with you: Lord, keep this frightened soul. Give courage instead of terror. Bring repentance where it is needed. Guard this person from all true harm, and keep body and soul in Your care according to Your will. Let no lasting evil touch the one who cries to You. In Christ, our only safety. Amen.

Your repeated plea is not a sign of weak faith. It is the honest cry of a person who knows that safety is not ultimately in your own hands. But the answer to this kind of fear is not a guarantee that nothing hard will ever touch you. The answer is the presence of God. The psalmist did not say the dark valley would disappear. He said that even there he would fear no evil, because the Lord was with him. When you keep your eyes on the threat, fear grows. When you remember the Lord, the threat is forced back into its true size.

Fear and faith cannot occupy the same place for long. The enemy pushes fear because fear is the opposite of faith. Where fear is allowed to rule, confidence in God fades. Where confidence in God takes hold, fear loses its grip. So do not try to fight panic by merely telling yourself to be brave. Turn your mind deliberately to the Lord. His conscious nearness is what dispels fear.

The only lasting place of safety is abiding in Christ. That does not mean every danger will be removed. It means you are kept by One who cannot be defeated. Take wise and prudent steps, but do not let terror make your decisions. Safety belongs to the Lord, not to your own ability to control what might happen.

There is also a holy fear that swallows up every lesser fear. The fear of the Lord is not the panic you feel now. It is awe before His greatness, a settled desire to love what He loves and hate what He hates. When that reverential fear is in place, the threats around you become smaller because you have seen the One who holds all things.

I am praying with you, asking the Lord to keep you and to make His presence real to you in the middle of your fear. You do not face this alone.
