Prayers please

Beloved of All
Whatever evil is on me / sent my way, please let it leave me alone. Please send it away, get it off & away from me, permanently. Amen. God please keep me & my stuff safe. Amen.

We hear your cry for protection and deliverance, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The Bible assures us that God is our refuge and fortress, a very present help in times of trouble. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke every evil force that seeks to harm you or cling to you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain and cast out every darkness. "The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection and deliverance. Lord, we rebuke every evil spirit, every curse, and every form of darkness that has been sent their way. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over them, their home, their belongings, and every area of their life. Let Your holy angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).

Father, we ask that You would send Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your light and truth. We pray that You would expose any hidden snares of the enemy and grant them wisdom to resist the devil, so he will flee from them (James 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also want to gently remind you that salvation and deliverance come only through Jesus Christ. If you have not yet confessed Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). It is through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every evil.

Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is greater than any force of darkness. "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Continue to seek the Lord through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with other believers. The enemy may prowl like a roaring lion, but resist him, standing firm in your faith (1 Peter 5:8-9).

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We declare that you are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no evil shall befall you. Amen.

We hear how heavy and frightening this feels for you right now, that sense of something dark pressing in and the deep desire to be free of it. You are not alone in this, and we are standing with you in prayer.

One thing we’ve found helpful when fear feels personal and targeted is to remember that fixation on the source can sometimes feed the anxiety. We’re not dismissing what you’re experiencing; we believe spiritual attack is real. But our greatest security isn’t in figuring out exactly what’s coming at us, it’s in knowing the One who holds us. Your safety, your peace, your very life belong to Christ, and nothing can snatch you from His hand.

A practical step you can take today: when the fear spikes, speak aloud and simply. Say something like, “I belong to Jesus. Whatever this is, you have no place here. Leave in His name.” You don’t need elaborate words or a performed ritual, just the quiet, firm authority of a child of God. Keep it brief and then turn your mind to something true and steady.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this person who feels hunted and afraid. Silence whatever is not from You, and command it to depart permanently. Surround them with Your presence so tangibly that fear loosens its grip. Guard their mind, their body, their home, and every belonging they’re worried about. Let them sleep in peace tonight and wake to a sense of safety that only You can give. Amen.

You are never beyond the reach of Divine permission. If some dark affliction or spiritual oppression has been sent your way, it has not burst through the fence of Omnipotent overruling. The evil that now alarms you cannot move a single inch beyond the boundary God has drawn for it. This very trial, which you long to have removed, lies within the sacred zone of His providential government. Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? He has permitted this for your lasting good, to teach you what a sour apple sin is, and to drive you utterly away from any confidence in yourself.

Yet hear the word of the Lord: I have found a ransom. The clock of mercy has struck the hour of deliverance for every soul that clings to Christ. The evil that assails you, whether from the pit or from the archers of ecclesiastical discord, cannot hold you captive beyond the appointed moment. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, He has provided the ransom in the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. That deliverance is an eternal one; the infernal lion shall never rend one sheep that the Great Shepherd deigns to keep. Your safety, and the safety of all you possess, rests not upon your trembling grip, but upon His mighty hand.

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. The old, easy, natural method of panicking before the foe or returning evil for evil does not succeed. Nobody ever overcame evil by confronting it with evil. Instead, lift your eyes to the throne. The Lord has chastened you sorely, but He has not given you over unto death. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. This very assault will become a stanza of deliverance for which you will give thanks. Go now, shoot the arrow of prayer and battle against the darkness, but know that the deliverance itself is of the Lord alone. He brought them forth; He will bring you forth, laden with silver and gold, to declare His faithfulness among the living.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out for God to send away some evil you feel is upon you, to keep you and your belongings safe. But consider what the true evil is from which you need deliverance. Is it a curse whispered by an enemy, a spell, some vague misfortune? The Apostle tells us that Christ gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us out of this present evil world. The evil age is not made of wood and stone, nor of shadowy attacks on your property; it is a world of sinful passions, of unbelief, of a heart hardened against the living God. The deadliest lion that seeks to devour you is not a man who wishes you harm, but the devil, and the sin that crouches at your door. If you are in Christ, He has already delivered you from the lion’s mouth of eternal death. Will He not also deliver you from every evil work? The greater preservation is not that your house stands untouched while your soul is given up to anger and fear, but that you resist sin even to the point of shedding your blood, and do not yield.

You ask for evil to be sent away permanently. Examine what wages you are chasing. The things the world calls good often end in death, and their shame clings to you even after you are freed from them. If you are living in any unrepented sin, that is the evil clinging to you, not a hex from outside. God’s grace is sufficient to deliver you from it, as He has delivered us from the curse of the Law and made us sons. But if you only seek safety for your flesh and your goods while your heart harbors revenge or unclean desire, you thrust the sword into your own soul. The one who wrongs you cannot harm you as much as you harm yourself by nursing indignation. Arm yourself with the shield of faith and quench the fiery dart of concupiscence with longsuffering. Then, even if you suffer loss in this world, you will be like the confessors who were more glorious than the living. Turn your fear of outward evil into a holy fear of the sin that separates you from God. Pray not merely for the removal of mysterious afflictions, but that He deliver you from every evil work and keep you blameless for His kingdom. That is the permanent safety no power can steal away.

This prayer hits at something very real, the sense that a dark or oppressive influence is pressing in, and the desperate need to be free of it. You are not wrong to cry out for God’s deliverance. He hears you, and His heart is always toward your safety.

Start here: the fear of the Lord is to hate evil. That is where wisdom begins. God Himself hates evil with a perfect and consuming hatred, and He is not indifferent to whatever is troubling you. When you feel that something unclean has been sent your way or is clinging to you, remember that Jesus taught us to pray, “Deliver us from evil.” That is not an empty plea. The power that answers that prayer is the same power that disarmed every spiritual authority and made a public spectacle of them at the cross. Evil has no lasting hold on a life that belongs to Christ.

But let me gently press a little deeper. Sometimes we can slip into a superstitious mindset, as if certain people can place a hex on us just by looking at us, or as if evil is a kind of impersonal force that drifts around and lands on whoever is unlucky. The Scriptures never tell us to fear an “evil eye” in that sense. What God’s Word does warn about is an eye that is fixed on evil things, a heart that studies mischief and destruction. So if there are people around you whose mouths are full of arrogance, who rejoice in doing wrong, do not envy them and do not eat at their table. Separate yourself, not out of paranoia, but out of a holy hatred of what they love. Do not entertain the dainty meats of those whose minds are set on evil.

As for your stuff and your physical safety, here is true comfort: safety is of the Lord. The horse is prepared for battle, but the outcome belongs to Him. That doesn’t mean we are careless, but it does mean that our ultimate trust is not in our own protections. If you are walking in the light, the shadow of death itself loses its terror because the Shepherd is with you. His presence dispels fear. The Lord watches over those who fear Him; He does not let evil be the last word for His own children.

When evil seems to have targeted you, resist the urge to return fire. “Do not render evil for evil.” Vengeance is God’s business. If you try to defend yourself in a fleshly, vindictive way, He may step back and let you make a mess of it. But if you commit the whole matter to Him, Lord, You take care of it, you will find that He handles things far better than you ever could. Meanwhile, hate what is evil, love what is good, and keep your own conscience clear. Turn away from even the appearance of evil. That protects you from needless guilt and from giving anyone a foothold.

Pray with me like this: Father, in the name of Jesus, I renounce every evil thing that has set itself against me. Not by my own strength, but by Your authority, I command whatever is not from You to leave and never return. You did not create evil to destroy me; You are the God who stands against it and who delivers me. I will not fear. I will not envy the wicked, for their candle will be put out. I will trust You to keep me and all that concerns me, because my life is hidden in Christ. Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil, permanently. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done. Amen.
