Prayers please

We hear your fear and concern about your health, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We take comfort in knowing that God cares deeply for your well-being and invites you to cast your anxieties upon Him.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon our dear sister/brother. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to bring restoration and relief. We pray that as they partake in food, You would guard their body from inflammation and discomfort. Give them wisdom to make choices that honor You and nourish their body, which is Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Calm their fears, Lord, and replace their anxiety with Your perfect peace. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your promise to sustain them.

We also encourage you to seek godly wisdom in your diet and health decisions. Proverbs 3:7-8 says, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." Consider consulting with healthcare professionals who honor God and can provide guidance aligned with biblical principles. Trust that the Lord is with you, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).

If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider the words of John 14:6, where Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and the assurance of eternal life. If you feel led, we invite you to pray with us: "Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sins and invite You into my heart and life. Be my Lord and Savior, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. In Your name, I pray. Amen."

We continue to pray for you, trusting that God will meet you in your time of need. May His peace and healing presence be with you always.

We hear you, and we’re holding this with you right now. It’s exhausting to face every meal with that kind of fear, unsure whether something will spark a flare-up and leave you hurting. The fear you feel makes sense, and you don’t have to carry it alone.

We’re asking God to calm your heart and to cover your body with protection as you eat. We’re also thinking practically: if you haven’t already, bringing a doctor or a dietitian alongside you can be a huge relief, someone who really understands your unique triggers and can give you a plan that feels safe. That’s not a lack of faith; it’s caring for the body God gave you, right alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this one up to You. The anxiety around each bite is real, so we ask You to settle the racing thoughts and replace them with deep, steady peace. Guard their body from inflammation. May their food nourish them without harm. Give wisdom to every medical professional involved and clarity for the steps ahead. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Fear not. This is a command from your Lord, and it comes with a promise: “Fear not, for I will help thee.” That you are scared is plain, but it must not be allowed to master you. Fear weakens the soul and dishonors the God who has fed you all your life long. Will you now distrust the hand that has never failed? “Fear not the want of outward good; He will for His provide, grant them supplies of daily food, and all they need beside.”

Remember that the very leaves of the tree of life are for healing. If the least things about Christ are charged with healing virtue, how much more is He Himself able to sanctify the food you eat? You are not to wait for a feeling of safety before you trust; that is to make an idol of your sensations. No, trust Him for the very thing you lack. The lepers were healed as they went; so go to your table in faith, expecting mercy. The healing power of Christ is present in this very trial, pardon and bodily peace often flow together from His hand. Commit your cause to Him, lay your case at His feet, and fear not. Only trust Him.

Your fear grips you because you look only at the body and what enters it, forgetting the One who gives both body and bread. Why do you tremble at food as though your life depended on that alone? Christ said His burden is light, yet you carry a heavy load of dread. Turn that fear into prayer, yes, but prayer that trusts, not that bargains. Ask God to bless your nourishment, but even more, ask Him to quiet your soul. The inflammation you dread is not your master unless you make it so. The body is like a garment worn by servants and kings alike, it will wear out and suffer, but the soul endures. If you let every meal become a terror, you are a slave to a worse tyranny than any physical pain. Receive what is set before you with thanksgiving, eat what is needful, and then leave the rest to God. Did He not provide manna in the wilderness? Will He not sustain you? If He permits some affliction, it is not to destroy you but to teach you to cling to Him. Let the fear of the Lord cast out all other fears. Then you will find rest for your soul.

Fear has a way of gripping the whole body, and I hear it in your words. It is a powerful thing when the very act of eating, something meant to nourish you, becomes a source of dread. But understand this: the fear that has mastered you is not the fear we are called to have. The fear of the Lord is the true starting place, the sum total of wisdom. To fear Him is to hate evil and to depart from it. That kind of reverential awe does not leave you panicked over your next meal. It brings a deep, settled confidence.

The Scriptures tell us plainly that the fear of the Lord brings health to your body and strength to your bones. There is a direct connection between walking in the conscious presence of God and the quieting of this turmoil inside you. Your physical body reacts to the state of your spirit. A heart full of anxiety and sudden terror does a work in your chemistry that is not good, but a heart set at rest, trusting in Him, is like medicine. God is interested in your physical health. If He were to speak to us about our diet today, He would have much to say. You are right to be mindful of what you eat, and it is wise to ask Him to bless the food that sustains you.

But consider this: the Pharisees were obsessed with what went into the body, believing that eating with a sinner would somehow defile them. Yet when Jesus went into the house of Zacchaeus and ate with him, that meal did not make Christ unclean. The defilement they feared came from within, from a bitter and critical heart. I do not say this to dismiss your concern, but to reframe it. The power over your inflammation does not ultimately reside in the food itself, as if it were an uncontrollable force. The ultimate cure for the fear you feel is the consciousness of God being with you. Fear not, for I am with you, this is not a mere platitude. It is the divine antidote. You only become prey to this terror when you lose the sense of His nearness. Ask God to let that awareness flood over you as you sit down to eat, so that the dread is dispelled by His presence. He will be your confidence, and He will keep your foot from being taken.
