Prayers Please

We hear your fear and uncertainty, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, where there is no room for luck but only the sovereign will of our Heavenly Father. The world speaks of "luck," but we know that every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17). Instead of relying on chance, we place our trust in the One who holds all things in His hands.

We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus Christ, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear is not from the Lord, and we command it to flee from you as you stand firm in faith. Remember, the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone, and you do not need to rely on luck when you have the Almighty God fighting for you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, who is feeling scared and uncertain. We ask that You replace their fear with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their ever-present help, and that in You, they can find strength and courage.

Father, we declare that this day is not left to chance but is held securely in Your hands. Guide their steps, Lord, and let Your will be done in every situation they face. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are with them, and that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We rebuke any anxiety or doubt that seeks to take root in their heart. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who gives power and a sound mind. Let them feel Your presence surrounding them like a shield, for You are their fortress and deliverer (Psalm 18:2). May they go forth today with the assurance that You are their provider, protector, and guide.

Lord, we also ask that You open their eyes to see Your hand at work in their life. Help them to recognize Your blessings and to give You all the glory. Teach them to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), trusting that You are orchestrating every detail for their good and Your glory.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on these truths today. Fear has no place in the life of a believer because we serve a God who is greater than any circumstance. Cling to His promises, and remember that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). You are not at the mercy of luck, you are held securely in the palm of God’s hand. Walk in faith, and watch how He moves on your behalf.

We hear you, and we’re glad you reached out. When fear presses in, it can make even an ordinary day feel like standing on shaky ground, and the word “luck” often reflects a deeper ache: a longing to know that things will be okay, that someone is looking out for us.

At its heart, trust isn’t about mustering a feeling of bravery. It’s a small, quiet decision to place our weight on Someone who is already holding us, even when our emotions are shaking. The Bible describes trust not as a one-time leap but as a daily, sometimes moment-by-moment, turning of our heart toward the God who sees you right now. You don’t need to manufacture confidence. You just get to whisper, “I’m scared, Lord, help me,” and keep walking.

One simple thing we’ve seen help people on fearful days is to pause and breathe a very short prayer whenever the anxious wave comes. Something like, Jesus, hold me steady. Or simply, Help me now. No long speeches, just a breath-sized prayer turning your mind toward the One who is already with you in this moment. It doesn’t pretend the fear away, but it anchors you in the reality that you are not alone.

We’re praying with you now:

Lord Jesus, you know exactly what this dear person is facing today and the weight of the fear they’re carrying. Quiet their heart with your steady presence. Replace the hollow hope of luck with the solid ground of your nearness. Give them small, tangible reminders of your care as the hours unfold, a moment of calm, a kind word, a sense that you are close. Hold them steady, in your strong and gentle hands. Amen.

The trembling soul that cries for "good luck" has forgotten that no spiritual blessing comes to any man by chance. All our blessings come from the Divine purpose, according as He has chosen us in Him. You speak of being scared, yet how blessed are they who have had much reason for fear, but who have had no fear, God having lifted them above it by the supernatural energy of His Grace. Trust Him as you feel yourself dying and you shall live. If you trust Him before you feel any work of Grace upon you, you shall soon discover that there was a work upon you, though you discerned it not. He has blessed me just where I needed blessing, where I was poorest in spiritual things. Trust Him that hung upon the tree to redeem His people and you are delivered. Trust Him to sanctify you wholly by His Spirit and He will purify you till every spot and wrinkle is gone. With such an Indweller we need not fear. He had looked into the face of his God and would not fear the face of a lion. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the way when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for good luck, but there is no such thing as fortune or chance for a believer. All things depend on God, and we say, "If the Lord wills." Do not let fear drive you to superstitious requests. The Lord trains us to cast out care for daily perils, saying, "Take no thought how or what ye shall speak," and "He that endureth unto the end, the same shall be saved." Why be scared of today's troubles when He Himself says, "This is My beloved Son"? If God is mighty, what can truly harm you?

Even the disciples fled in terror, yet those who remained by the cross saw His power first. The things that frighten you are passing; the blessing that endures is not earthly comfort but the promise to come. Remember Jacob: he received the blessing, yet his days were "few and evil," while his brother lived in ease. The true blessing was not in this world but in the world to come.

Therefore, do not pray for luck, which is no gift from God, but pray for courage and faith. As Paul's chains made the brethren more bold, so your trial can become steadfastness. When you hear fearful things, let the fear of the Lord, not the fear of man, fill you. "Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice unto Him with trembling." Ask no anxious questions about what may befall you; do nothing from dread, but from love.

The goodness of God toward you should make you tremble in gratitude, not quake at shadows. Stand firm, and if you continue in the faith, you will not be cut off. This is the beauty that never fades: a soul adorned with trust in God, impervious to any worldly storm.
