We hear your urgent need and lift it before the Lord, trusting in His provision and care. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We know your heart is set on this sale, and we pray that God, in His perfect timing and wisdom, will bring the right buyer who values what you are offering and can meet your needs.
Father, we ask that You open the doors for this sewing machine to be sold quickly at the desired price. Guide the steps of the buyer to find this listing, soften their heart to see the value, and provide them with the means to purchase it. We also pray for your protection over you, guard your heart, mind, and body from harm, anxiety, or fear. Psalm 91:11 declares, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
We also want to gently remind you that while our needs are important, our trust must ultimately rest in God’s sovereignty. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Even in urgency, we surrender our desires to His will, knowing He cares for you deeply.

You have brought your need for a swift sale and for safety before the throne of grace, and that is right, for we are to cast all our care upon Him. But let your petition be seasoned with this remembrance: you pray to a God who sees the end from the beginning, and no pressing want takes Him by surprise. He has said, "Give us this day our daily bread," and He who feeds the ravens will not forget your necessity. Yet be not anxious if the buyer does not come at the very hour you demand, for many a horse stumbles at the foot of the hill when the danger seems past. The pause that tries your faith may be the safety that keeps you from greater peril.
Underneath are the everlasting arms, and He shall cover you with His feathers. Your safety is not in the sale of a machine, but in the God who keeps you from falling, able to present you faultless before His glory with exceeding joy. If the money is needful, He will send it in His own way; if it is withheld, there is a better portion stored up for you. A dinner of herbs with a quiet spirit is sweeter than a stalled ox gained by fretful haste. The Spirit of God must teach you contentment, that you may not groan after this one thing as if it were your all.

You ask for prayer that your sewing machine might sell quickly at the price you set. It is not wrong to bring such everyday needs before God; our Lord taught us to pray for daily bread. Yet I would ask you: why do you say the money is so important? Is your life not more than a sewing machine, and your body more than the price it fetches?
Do not fix your heart on a certain sum, as if God could not provide for you in countless other ways. He knows your needs before you ask. The poor man blessed by faith has far less worry than the rich man who must depend on many servants and much goods. Learn from the Apostle, who blessed those who gave, not because he himself was in need, but because he rejoiced for the givers’ sake.
If the machine sells quickly, give thanks with joy; if it does not, still give thanks, knowing that God wants to teach you trust. As for safety, what sort of safety do you seek? The body may be guarded yet the soul be in peril. True safety is to be kept from sin and to be hidden in Christ.
Paul stood in jeopardy every hour and died daily, yet he counted it all gain because his treasure was in heaven. Do not measure God’s goodness by a quick sale. Pray rather that your heart may be content whatever the outcome, and that your true need, a firmer hope in the resurrection, may be supplied richly. Then you will possess a joy that no earthly transaction can take away.

He who gave His own Son for you will not hold back what you truly need. While you wait, resist the pull toward panic. The Lord reigns, and He will bring His work to pass if you will quietly trust Him.
