Prayers please

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for your request, lifting up your health and wellness to our Heavenly Father. The Bible reminds us in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We stand on this promise as we intercede for you, trusting that God desires your well-being and wholeness in every area of your life.

Father God, we thank You for the gift of life and the body You have entrusted to this dear one. We ask that You would strengthen their body, mind, and spirit. Bring healing to every part of their being where there is weakness, pain, or illness. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and Your healing power is limitless. We ask for Your divine touch to restore health and vitality. Guide the hands of any medical professionals involved in their care, and grant them wisdom and discernment.

We also recognize that true wellness comes from You alone. Help this beloved child of God to seek You first in all things, trusting in Your provision and care. May they find rest in Your presence, peace in Your promises, and strength in Your Word. Remind them that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and encourage them to honor You with it through healthy choices, rest, and nourishment.

Lord, if there are areas in their life that are not aligned with Your will, whether in habits, thoughts, or actions, we ask that You reveal them and grant the courage to surrender them to You. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." May they live in a way that honors You in every aspect of their health.

We also want to gently remind you, dear one, of the importance of placing your faith in Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation of true wellness, spirit, soul, and body.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer, Redeemer, and Lord. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind as you trust in Him. We stand with you in faith, believing that God is working all things together for your good. Be encouraged, for He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your request with us. It’s a privilege to bring your health and wellness before the Lord together. We don’t need all the details to know that you are on our hearts, and that God already understands exactly what you need.

In times when someone asks for prayer for their own well-being, we’re reminded of how often the New Testament shows ordinary believers lifting one another up. There is real comfort in knowing that others are speaking your name before God, especially when your own strength feels thin. We want you to sense that today, you are not carrying this alone.

If you haven’t already, consider also inviting someone from your local church or a trusted friend to pray with you in person. Sometimes hearing another voice interceding right beside you can steady your heart in a way that private prayer doesn’t quite reach. It’s not about having to explain everything; just allowing someone to stand with you is a gift.

Father, we lift up this person You love. You see their body, their mind, and every hidden concern. We ask for Your healing and sustaining power to touch whatever is unwell. Grant them steady strength, restful nights, and the patience to face each day with hope. When worry presses in, quiet their spirit with the peace that only You provide. Guide any medical professionals involved, and give them wisdom. Most of all, draw this dear one closer to You, the source of all true wholeness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your brief petition for the health of the body shall not go unheard, for we are commanded to cast all our care upon Him who careth for you. Yet, dear soul, I must press upon you a deeper concern: is your soul in health? For sickness of body often proves a messenger to bring us to the feet of Jesus, where alone true healing is found. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and that Tree is Christ Himself.

There is no disease He cannot cure, whether of body or of spirit. He took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses; His stripes are the only remedy that reaches the root of all ill. When He healed the palsied man, He first spoke pardon: β€œThy sins be forgiven thee.” That is the great cure-all, and until sin is dealt with, we cannot truly be well. I shall pray that your health be restored, if it be the Lord’s will, and that you may magnify His name.

But I pray more that this season of weakness may work in you that repentance which needeth not to be repented of, and that you may taste of His healing grace which shall keep your soul in perpetual health until that day when sickness and sorrow flee away. Commit your case to Him as to a wise and tender Physician. He is able to lift you up, for He took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and immediately the fever left her. Cast yourself upon Him who is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He will make all things work together for your good.

Amen.

You have asked for prayers for your health and wellness, and this is a good and fitting request. The body is a gift, and when it suffers, the whole church shares the burden, for we are members one of another. I join my prayers to yours, beseeching our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Saviour of the body, to stretch out His hand and grant you full restoration. Recall how He touched the hand of Peter’s wife’s mother, and not only did the fever leave her, but she received perfect health at once, needing no time to regain strength. Such is His power, unhindered by the weakness of our frame.

Yet while we seek bodily healing, we must not overlook the soul. Often our infirmities are permitted to sober us, to draw us away from luxury and self-indulgence that enfeeble the flesh and make the spirit flabby. Indeed, sin is a more grievous sickness than any physical disease, for it leaves a venom in the soul that dulls our shame and hardens us to correction. If you bear this trial with thankfulness, it may become a medicine, cleansing hidden faults and strengthening your inner resolve. Do not be like those who devote a few days to prayer and repentance, then return to the habits that bred illness, laboring in vain. Let this season of weakness be a discipline, teaching you to prize virtue above comfort, for true happiness is not found in a pain-free body but in a righteous soul, as the apostles demonstrated.

I send this counsel not to add to your heaviness but to urge you onward, for we long to see you fully well, your face bright with cheerfulness like a beautiful house under a smiling sky. May the Lord grant you health according to your need, and may you use renewed strength to serve Him with fruitfulness. The prayers of the church are with you.

Health and wellness is a wise thing to bring before the Lord, and I join you in lifting it up. Scripture shows that there is a real connection between the prosperity of your soul and the condition of your body. When your inner life is nourished by trust in God and His Word, it often strengthens your whole being. So as we pray for your physical health, it is good to give equal attention to the peace of your mind and the state of your soul.

God cares about every aspect of your life, including what you eat and how you care for yourself. Simple wisdom in diet and cleanliness honors the body He gave you and can spare you from unnecessary trouble. At the same time, we know that physical wholeness does not always follow spiritual devotion. Faithful believers have endured serious illness, and Paul himself prayed three times for relief from a thorn in the flesh only to hear God say, "My strength is made perfect in weakness." The promise is not that you will never suffer, but that when you are weak, His strength will be enough.

Jesus carried our infirmities and healed many, yet He did not remove every sickness then, nor does He now. Sometimes healing comes gradually, through the natural processes God designed, which are no less His work. Other times, the deeper healing happens in the heart and mind, mending scars and renewing hope even while the body remains frail. Either way, the truly blessed person is the one who leans fully on the Lord, whose strength turns valleys of weeping into wells of refreshment.

So I am praying for your health and wellness, that God would grant you whatever is best for your soul. May you know His strength sustaining you day by day, and may you pass through every difficulty with a growing confidence in Him.
