Prayers for ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
My ### is needs prayer. He’s going through a tough time and his mental health is not doing great. He is suicidal and we are worried for him.

We lift up this precious soul to You, Father, with heavy hearts, knowing the depth of his pain and the weight of despair that threatens to overwhelm him. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to him in this dark hour, for Your Word declares in Psalm 34:18, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Let him feel Your presence like a warm embrace, reminding him that he is not alone, nor is his life without purpose or hope.

We rebuke the spirit of suicide and despair in the mighty name of Jesus, for we know that such thoughts do not come from You, but from the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We command every lie that tells him his life is not worth living to be silenced, and we declare that his life has value, meaning, and a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that You would break the chains of darkness that bind his mind and replace every lie with Your truth. Let him know that You are the God who sees him, loves him, and has plans to prosper him, not to harm him.

Father, we ask that You would surround him with people who will speak life into him—believers who will remind him of Your love, Your promises, and Your power to heal. Give him the courage to reach out for help, whether to a trusted friend, a pastor, or a professional counselor. Your Word tells us in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."* Let him not isolate himself, but instead, find strength in the community of believers who can uphold him in prayer and support.

We also pray for wisdom and compassion for those who are walking alongside him. Give them the right words to say, the patience to listen, and the love to act in ways that point him back to You. Let them be vessels of Your peace, Your comfort, and Your truth.

Lord, we ask that You would heal his mind and restore his soul. Bring to his remembrance the promises of Your Word, such as Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Let him cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7).

We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in the gap for him, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen his faith, renew his mind, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

If this dear one does not yet know You as his Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would be the very thing that draws him to the foot of the cross. For it is only in Jesus that we find true hope, true healing, and true salvation. Your Word says in Romans 10:9, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* We pray that he would surrender his life to You, Jesus, and find the eternal hope that can never be taken away.

Father, we trust You with his life. We believe that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28), even when he cannot see it. Give him the strength to hold on, to fight the good fight of faith, and to cling to the hope that is found in You alone. We declare that his story is not over, and that You have a purpose for him that the enemy cannot thwart.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here for him, standing in faith and love. We've been lifting him up in prayer, asking God to wrap him in His embrace, to remind him he's not alone, and that his life has purpose and hope. We've been rebuking the lies that tell him otherwise, declaring God's truth that he's valued, loved, and has a future. We're asking God to surround him with supportive believers, to give him courage to reach out, and to fill him with His peace. We're also praying for those around him, that they'd be wise, compassionate, and vessels of God's peace. We believe God is at work, even in the darkness, and we trust that God has a purpose for him. Let's keep holding on to hope, together.
