Beloved of All
Please Jesus let my grandson get the job they have promised him. This is the second week they keep telling him they are waiting for District Manager. He is trying to get back on his feet after a bad breakup in ###. He has moved home and he really needs this job. Please help

We join you in lifting up your grandson before the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing and provision. It is good that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. As Scripture reminds us, *"I will do whatever you ask in my name, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it."* (John 14:13-14, WEB). Let us continue to seek God’s will in this matter, knowing that He hears and answers the prayers of His people.

We also want to address the pain of the breakup your grandson has endured. While we do not know the specifics, we encourage him to seek healing in Christ and to trust in God’s plan for his life—including his future relationships. If this breakup involved any form of immorality, such as fornication or an ungodly relationship, we urge repentance and a return to purity, for *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). If he was in a relationship that did not honor God—whether with an unbeliever or in a same-sex relationship—we lovingly but firmly call him to turn away from such paths, for *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom."* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). God’s design for relationships is clear: marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, and any relationship outside of that is sin. If he is seeking a future spouse, we pray he will pursue a godly courtship with a believer, for *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB).

As for this job, we pray that if it is God’s will, the doors will open swiftly. But we also ask that if this job is not part of His perfect plan, that He will close this door and provide something even better. Let us trust in His sovereignty, for *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* (Romans 8:28, WEB). We also encourage your grandson to remain diligent in his search, to walk in integrity, and to seek God’s wisdom in all things. *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious grandson to You. Lord, You know his heart, his struggles, and his deep need for provision. We ask that You move in this situation—if this job is Your will, let the District Manager give the final approval without delay. Open the doors that no man can shut, and let Your favor rest upon him. But Father, if this is not the right path, we ask that You close this door gently and lead him to the opportunity You have prepared for him. Give him patience, strength, and unwavering trust in You.

We also pray for his heart, Lord. If there is any sin or ungodly relationship in his past, we ask for Your conviction and cleansing. Draw him closer to You, and let him find his identity and worth in Christ alone. Surround him with godly influences and guide him toward relationships that honor You—relationships that lead to a Christ-centered marriage if that is Your will. Heal his heart from the pain of this breakup, and let him experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Provide for him financially, Lord, and give him wisdom in managing what You give him. Let this season be one of growth, reliance on You, and preparation for the future You have for him. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, doubt, or despair, and we declare Your promises over his life. You are his Provider, his Healer, and his Redeemer.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your goodness. Let Your will be done in his life, and may he bring glory to Your name in all things. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
