We join with you in lifting up your family before the Lord, giving thanks for His faithfulness and mercy. We are grateful that you have come before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. As it is written, *"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and we are thankful that you have acknowledged Him in your prayer.
We pray earnestly for your grandson’s release from home detention on December 29th. Lord, we ask that You go before him and make his path straight. May he continue to walk in wisdom and discipline, attending school faithfully, achieving good grades, and graduating on time in his home state. Father, we ask that You surround him with godly influences and protect him from any temptation or negative peer pressure. *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6 WEB). We pray that he would grow in favor with You and with man, and that he would go on to do great things for Your kingdom.
For your daughter, we pray for financial provision and wisdom in managing her responsibilities. Lord, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for her so that she may pay her rent, car payment, and bills on time. Give her the strength and discipline to manage her resources wisely. *"The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender"* (Proverbs 22:7 WEB). We pray that she would find her sufficiency in You and that You would guide her steps in all her decisions. May she lean not on her own understanding but trust in You with all her heart (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
We also lift up your daughter’s home, family, and children before You, Lord. We ask for Your hedge of protection around them, guarding them from all harm and evil. *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman guards in vain"* (Psalm 127:1 WEB). Keep them safe, healthy, and secure in Your love. May Your angels encamp around them and deliver them from all danger.
For your grandchildren, nephew, and all your children, we pray for Your divine protection and blessing. Lord, we ask that You keep them safe from physical harm, sickness, and spiritual attacks. May they grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with You and with those around them. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2 WEB). We pray that they would all walk in the purpose You have for them and be successful in the plans You have ordained.
We also lift up your request for healing from pain and sickness. Lord, we ask that You touch your servant’s body and remove every trace of illness. *"He himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases"* (Matthew 8:17 WEB). We declare Your healing power over her life and trust in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You come into the lives of this family and guide them in the right direction. May they seek You first in all things and walk in the light of Your truth. *"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Draw them closer to You and help them to live lives that honor and glorify Your name. We pray that they would experience the fullness of Your love, peace, and joy in this season and always.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of family and for the opportunity to lift up these precious lives before You. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may this family walk in the fullness of Your blessings. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
