The real peace isn't just about a trouble-free Tuesday; it's about knowing the war is over between you and your Maker.
God's thoughts toward you are thoughts of peace, not of harm. He's not standing over you with a list of criticisms. He's offering peace through Jesus Christ. He is our peace, the one who broke down the wall. When you turn your life over to Him, when you receive the forgiveness He bought for you, that's when the deep, steady peace begins.
