We lift up this request for safety with heavy hearts, knowing that the world is filled with uncertainty and danger. Yet we stand firm in the promise of God’s protection, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against those who trust in the Lord shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that His angels would encamp around those in need of His covering (Psalm 34:7).
Father, we ask You to guard the steps of Your children, whether they are traveling near or far. Shield them from harm, whether seen or unseen, and grant them wisdom to walk in Your ways. May they not lean on their own understanding but trust in You with all their hearts (Proverbs 3:5-6). We rebuke every spirit of fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also recognize that true safety is found in a relationship with You, Lord. If this request does not come from someone who has surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray they would come to know Him as their Savior. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and only in Him can we find eternal security.
Lord, we ask that You would surround this person with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they rest in the shadow of Your wings, knowing that You are their fortress and deliverer. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
