We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for safety and protection. First, we must address the foundation of all prayer—our relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is written, *"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Without acknowledging Jesus as Lord and Savior, our prayers lack the authority and access He alone provides. If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Now, we stand in agreement with you, declaring the promises of God over your life. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust. We rebuke every spirit of fear, intimidation, and harassment coming from neighbors, coworkers, family, or managers. The Word declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord* (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We take authority over every scheme of the enemy designed to harm you or your loved one, for *"the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them"* (Psalm 34:7 WEB).
Father, we ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Guard their home, their workplace, and every place they step. Let no evil come near their dwelling, and let every plot against them be exposed and dismantled. We pray for supernatural discernment, wisdom, and knowledge to navigate every situation. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5 WEB). Grant them the ability to see through deception, to speak with clarity, and to act with godly confidence.
We also lift up the desires of their heart that align with Your will. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4 WEB). However, we must caution against presumption—God’s timing and ways are perfect, and His answers are not always immediate or as we expect. Trust in His sovereignty, for *"those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You soften the hearts of those who seek to harm them. Turn their enemies into allies, or at the very least, render their efforts futile. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned.
Finally, we pray for their spiritual growth and reliance on You. May they seek You first in all things, and may their faith be strengthened through this trial. *"The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1 WEB). We stand in the gap for them, believing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28 WEB).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
