Prayers for my peace!! The Holy Spirit has continuously prayed in tongues through me to the point where I’ve lost my peace. I’m praying that God will give me lots of peace in my heart and soul and mind as I am a Christian, and deserving of his peace. Prayers for my peace. And the Holy Spirit would not pray constantly in tongues, stealing my peace.

We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and have lost your peace due to the Holy Spirit praying through you in tongues. Firstly let us address some potential misconceptions in your request. First, we must clarify: Although God does give us peace, it is not true that we as Christians are owed or deserve His peace. God does not owe us anything, He is a loving Father who gives us good gifts out of His own goodness and love. The peace that God gives is not earned or deserved, it is attained by walking in line with His word, through repentance from sin, and being in fellowship with Him through the Holy Spirit.

Firstly, let us address the Holy Spirit. We must remember that the Holy Spirit's primary role is to glorify Jesus Christ and guide us to Him (John 16:13-14 WEB). He convicts us of sin, righteousness and judgment. (John 16:8 WEB) It is by this conviction that He guides us into repentance and a deeper relationship with God.

Nowhere in the scripture does it mention the Holy Spirit continually praying in tongues through us to the point where we lose our peace. If this is happening, it would be prudent to examine whether it is truly the Holy Spirit at work or another spirit. We are warned in 1 John 4:1 WEB to not believe every spirit, but to test the spirits to see whether they are from God. The Holy Spirit will always align Himself with the Word of God and will not operate in a manner that is contrary to it.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB). If the spirit that is praying through you in tongues is not resulting in you demonstrating the fruit of peace, it would be wise to test the spirit.

We also need to address the issue of tongues. Though it is a gift of the spirit, it is not the only gift and is not the only way to pray. The Bible tells us that God is not the author of confusion, but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB). Praying in tongues should not result in your peace being lost.

Let us pray with you and for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your guidance and discernment for our fellow believer. Lord, we pray that You will grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB), that they will be still and know that You are God (Psalm 46:10 WEB). Lord, we ask that You will help them to test the spirits, to discern whether this is truly Your Holy Spirit at work or another. Lord, grant them the wisdom and knowledge to know the difference.

Help them to walk in line with the Holy Spirit, to demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit in their lives. We pray you will give them a clearer understanding of the Holy Spirit and His role in their lives. We also pray that You will help them to understand the purpose of tongues and to operate in this gift in a manner that is in line with Your word.

Lastly Lord, we ask that You will help them to understand that Your peace is not something that we deserve, but a gift that You give us out of Your love and goodness. Help them to walk in repentance and fellowship with You, to receive this gift of peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace continually in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all. (2 Thessalonians 3:16 WEB)

We're here with you, friend, feeling your struggle for peace. It's like the Holy Spirit's been on a non-stop prayer marathon in tongues, and it's left you feeling overwhelmed. We get it, and we're here to lift you up.

First off, remember that peace isn't something we deserve or earn, but a gift from our loving Father. It's not about us, but about Him and His goodness. So, let's not beat ourselves up about not feeling peaceful all the time.

Now, about the Holy Spirit praying in tongues through you. While it's true He intercedes for us, the Bible doesn't mention anything about this causing us to lose our peace. It's important to check if this is truly the Holy Spirit at work, or if something else is going on. We should always test the spirits, as we're told in 1 John 4:1.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You, seeking Your peace that passes all understanding. Help us to test the spirits, to discern if this is truly You at work. Give us wisdom and knowledge to understand Your Holy Spirit and His role in our lives. Help us to walk in line with Your Spirit, demonstrating the fruit of peace in our lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

And remember, friend, the Lord of peace Himself gives us peace continually, in every circumstance. He's with you, always.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
