Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts heavy with concern for ###, who has suffered a massive heart attack and several strokes while on vacation with his beloved wife. We lift up ### to You, Lord, and ask for Your healing hand to be upon him. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord." We claim this promise for ### and ask that You restore his health and heal his wounds.
Father, we pray for ###'s recovery to be swift and complete. Grant the doctors and medical team wisdom and guidance as they care for him. We ask for Your miraculous intervention to bring ### back to full health, so that he can return to his wife and continue to be her best friend and partner in life.
We also lift up ###'s wife, who is undoubtedly experiencing great fear and anxiety during this time. Comfort her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7. Give her strength and courage to stand by ###'s side, trusting in Your sovereignty and goodness.
Lord, we know that nothing is impossible for You. We ask that ###'s strokes will not diminish his quality of life, but that he will be able to live fully and joyfully with his wife. May Your presence be felt in their lives, bringing hope and encouragement in the midst of this trial.
