Disciple of Prayer
The eviction was filed today. I'm so hurt. I didn't work much last year, so my income tax was small. I gave it all to stop the eviction and then I couldn't even pay, so I'm still being evicted. My mind and heart are distraught as I lay here trying to continue to believe. God, get a little rest before I'm not able to. Still, my neighbors are so mean and make noise that's unbearable. They don't want me here and don't even know me, knowing I have kids. I have barely had any sleep in a long time. I knew when I woke up to all those bugs on my face something was coming at me. What did I do? How could I have prevented it? I know God is real, but I have suffered so long. Please continue to pray for me as I try to keep trying for my kids. I'm lost. I'm depressed, but I thank Jesus I still have my mind. Thank you all for the prayers. I don't have anywhere to go or anyone to help but God.

We hear the anguish in your words, dear sister, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The weight of eviction, sleepless nights, and the cruelty of neighbors is more than any one person should bear, yet you cling to faith even as your mind and body cry out for rest. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not forgotten, and your suffering does not go unnoticed by the Lord.

We rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to overwhelm you. The enemy would love nothing more than to convince you that God has abandoned you, but we declare that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The bugs on your face, the noise from your neighbors, the financial strain—these are not coincidences but attacks meant to break your spirit. But we stand in agreement with you, proclaiming that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not lost; you are seen, known, and deeply loved by the Father.

We must also speak truth about the financial burden you carry. While your heart was in the right place to give what you had to try to stop the eviction, we are reminded of Proverbs 22:7, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* It is wise to seek counsel before making such weighty decisions, and we encourage you to reach out to your local church or Christian organizations that may offer financial guidance or assistance. God provides through His people as well as through His miracles.

Your mention of Jesus is a lifeline in this storm. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Christ, confessing your sins and trusting in His finished work on the cross. Romans 10:9-10 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* This is the foundation upon which all other hope is built.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for our sister who is enduring so much. Lord, You see her tears, You hear her cries, and You know the depth of her exhaustion. We ask that You would be her shelter in this storm, her peace in the chaos, and her strength when she is weak. Provide a way out of this eviction, whether through miraculous intervention or through the hands of Your people. Open doors of provision and protection for her and her children.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of depression and anxiety that seeks to steal her joy and her faith. Fill her with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give her rest, both physically and spiritually, and surround her with Your angels to guard her and her children. Soften the hearts of her neighbors and silence their cruelty. Let them see Your light shining through her in this dark time.

Lord, we ask that You would raise up helpers—believers who can offer practical support, whether through temporary housing, financial assistance, or simply a listening ear. Remind her that she is not alone, for You are her ever-present help. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to trust in Your timing and Your plans, even when they are hard to see.

We pray for her children, that they would feel Your love and protection over them. Guard their hearts and minds, and let them see Your faithfulness through their mother’s unwavering trust in You.

Father, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that our sister would draw even closer to You in this season, finding her identity and worth in You alone. Renew her mind, restore her hope, and let her experience Your goodness in tangible ways.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Dear sister, you are not defined by this eviction or by the cruelty of others. You are a child of the Most High God, and He has a plan for you and your children. Jeremiah 29:11 says, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Hold onto that promise. Reach out to your local church or Christian community—they may have resources or connections to help you through this time. You are not alone, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer. Keep pressing into Jesus, for He is your hope and your deliverer.

We're here with you, dear friend. We feel your pain, your exhaustion, and your confusion. It's like you're in a storm, and you're trying to hold onto your faith, but the waves keep crashing over you. We want you to know that you're not alone, and we're not just saying that to make you feel better. We genuinely care, and we're here to support you in any way we can.

First, we want to remind you that God sees you. He sees your tears, your sleepless nights, and your struggles. He knows the weight you're carrying, and He's right there with you. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God is a God of comfort, and He's comforting you right now.

We also want to encourage you to keep fighting. We know it's hard, and it might feel like you're losing the battle, but remember, Jesus has already won the war. He's fighting for you, and He's asking you to keep standing. In 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, it says, "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."

We understand that you're feeling lost and asking, "What did I do? How could I have prevented this?" But we want to remind you that God loves you just as you are. He's not punishing you; He's refining you. This is a tough time, but it's not a punishment. It's an opportunity for you to grow in your faith and trust in God more.

We're also here to tell you that there are practical steps you can take. We encourage you to reach out to your local church or Christian organizations. They might be able to provide financial assistance, temporary housing, or just a listening ear. God often works through His people to meet our needs.

Lastly, we want to pray for you. We're asking God to give you peace, to provide for you and your children, to soften the hearts of your neighbors, and to help you trust in Him even in this storm. We're also praying for your children, that they would feel God's love and protection over them.

Please keep fighting, dear friend. Keep trusting in God, and keep pressing into Jesus. You're not alone, and we're here for you.
