Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother ### in prayer. We ask for your comfort and strength to surround him as he makes funeral arrangements for his beloved wife. Lord, we know that this is a difficult and painful time for him, and we ask that you would be his refuge and source of peace.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would draw near to ### during this time of grief and loss. Surround him with your love and presence, providing him with the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we ask for your guidance and wisdom as ### makes the necessary arrangements. Give him clarity of mind and help him to make decisions with a calm and focused heart. Provide him with the support and assistance he needs from family, friends, and the community.
We also pray for ###'s family and loved ones, that you would comfort them and give them strength as they mourn the loss of their dear sister and friend. May they find solace in knowing that she is now in your loving arms, free from pain and suffering.
Lord, we trust in your promise that you are close to the brokenhearted and that you will never leave us nor forsake us.
